I think y'all are overdoing it a bit. Sure I wanted cody to win at mania, but a brock feud where he's gonna bleed buckets will be fun to watch and as the bloodline continues to implode, Cody gets his hands on roman again (probably at summerslam if I had to guess) and takes him out for good. I'm not tripping

So, like, in ROCKY, Rocky didn't beat Apollo Creed, but he proved he could go the distance.
And then, in ROCKY II, Rocky gets his ass beat by Spider Rico while Apollo Creed went on a nice vacation.

I'm not tripping Except it would have been so much more interesting if Cody was champ and he had to fend off a monster challenger to start. Plus Cody just isn't going to be as hot as he was at WrestleMania as he will when Summerslam comes around. He's not Bryan, this level of heat is not going to last forever. |

I like Cody a lot still, but I want a Stone Cold babyface right now so badly. Someone who would've raised hell and attempted murder when Heyman denied the rematch request, instead of settling for a tag match.

His booking style is 80's NWA heel dominating wrestlers. Even his days when he was on the booking team or had influence as a active wrestler the fingerprints were all there.
