I like Cody a lot still, but I want a Stone Cold babyface right now so badly. Someone who would've raised hell and attempted murder when Heyman denied the rematch request, instead of settling for a tag match. I wanted Cody to just come out pissed off and punch Solo in the face. Would've been soooooo much better |

Oh god, tonight was Cody getting "killed off" and in a few weeks, Stardust will re-debut to play "mind games" with Brock. The old man is well and truly back in his chair. Bray Wyatt just watched the main event, pouting the whole time |

Solo should've had his thumbs broken. The Usos should've been thrown off the top of the arena. Heyman should've been locked inside a room with Kayla. Get Kayla hopped up on footage of Rey spanking Dom and let her get to work. |

His booking style is 80's NWA heel dominating wrestlers. Even his days when he was on the booking team or had influence as a active wrestler the fingerprints were all there. The REIGN of TERROR was innovated by Hunter. I don't believe this is entirely true. As we've seen by Bianca and the reign of Asuka in NXT, he will book strong women faces gladly (sometimes at a great detriment). But as for men, yeah that's basically true. Hell the climax of the first era of his/Dusty's NXT was the Sami Zayn run where he finally got his big win only for it to be undercut less than five minutes later by KO powerbombing him on the apron. That should have been the clear warning that no face men get true happiness. |

Some thread here back when Cody signed, it wasn’t his signing thread but like a bold prediction thread or some such, I said Cody Rhodes was Jeff Jarrett. A name yet an inconsequential signing of a mid card act. And he is.

Happened in NWA, WCW, World Class... hell even during the Reign of Terror Triple H wasn't against looking like a goof in feuds. He may ultimately win the feuds but there was more hope around the heel losing. |
