The Simpsons after "The Simpsons Movie" is high up there for me. I consider the movie to be canonical ending of the series. Sadly I believe the heat death of the universe will wind up being the canonical ending of the series.

Totally agree about Once Upon A Time. I tapped out like in the last two seasons. It was coming for some time...as the show was focusing on the Core Group and hardly using the other, sometimes more interesting, characters. Everything is about Rumple, every season is one magic that can be stopped by another magic, fit in as much Disney fan service as possible. And don't get me started on the final Everybody's Gone season.
American Housewife when they started the Meg Donnelly Infomercial Episodes Era. (I also missed a final season where a lot of regulars left there too)
Mike and Molly when they did a soft reboot, including making Melissa McCarthy do more Melissa McCarthy things.
Also agree about the MCU...after the Disney+ series era started. Most of the series after, say, Hawkeye, I DNF'ed. No longer have made a point to go to every film too. Think I only saw No Way Home and Multiverse of Madness.
Arrowverse, though I especially only focused on The Flash, and I stopped that I think like 3-4 seasons in.
I have yet to finish CGI Netflix He-Man, though that is one that has the possibility to change in the future. Same with The Stranger, also on Netflix.
Got out of Stranger Things back in *S2*.
Stopped watching Friends by S3...admitted by then that I only watched cause my friends did.
Netflix MST3K. After a few Gauntlet episodes, haven't been watching.
I have yet to see the last season of Crazy Ex-Girlfriend, but that's more the pandemic's fault (yes really...I felt like I couldn't look past Adam Schlessinger's death and the circumstances if I did at the time...)
Yes to Star Wars, as the Sequel Trilogy was what pushed the wind out of my sails completely (after putting some of it back when TFA was decent). I came back a bit with the D+ series, but after Boba Fett I haven't watched any/DNF'ed others.
Game show rerun-wise...when Buzzr was showing Whew! I started getting out of it when the celebrities came, and only followed when Steven Matthews (the guy who broke his leg but was allowed back for the bonus game) was going to return any time soon.

The whole X-Men series of comics, around the time after Inferno and when there was a flood of new series and new characters that were 'x-treeeem' and it all just seemed to add up to nothing.
The entire Marvel comic universe, too. The constant pushover of multi-issue super-huge crossovers that were going to 'change the Marvel Universe forever' and have an impact that lasts maybe four months before negative fan reaction forces them to change everything back. DC is guilty of that, too.

The last Lupin series. Sure, I still like the characters and all, but I think they're running out of things to do with them. At least Jojo mixes it up with new main characters every series.
American Dad. The last one I saw was the one with the hot tub (which was supposed to be the final episode anyway, so I left at the right time). Like Lupin, there's not much more you can do with the characters, especially considering how one-note most of them are.

After its initial growing pains I really grew to love it, and probably would still like a lot of the earlier stuff if I watched it now, but I feel like probably after season 7 it just started falling off, especially when it hit the TBS years. Being fair Adventures in Hayleysitting was in season 9 and that might be my favorite episode, but there isn't a lot else good happening in the show around that point.

Mutant Massacre was decent. But it got marvel doing hte once a year all X titles cross over stuff. Yea I dont buy New Mutants cause it sucked by then. I stopped buying X Factor. But once a year gotta buy 2 or 3 issues of each to understand a big crossover story that is forgotten in 10 months. I still had a mail order sub to Uncanny until issue 300. But from about 225 until then most times I would let 2 or 3 months worth build up before I bothered to read them.

Burn Notice final season. I still haven't finished it. It got to a point where every episode was just turned up to 11 and it got exhausting. Also, I got tired of his one chance to be redeemed getting pulled out from under him just to keep things going time after time. I finally just gave up on the series and never finished the final 10 or so episodes despie loving it at first.

That was like 95% resolved by the end of season five. They then stretched out that remaining five percent about as thin as they possibly could to get us through season six. Then, with absolutely no story left to tell, they had a seventh season. And it wasn't even very good with them pretty much abandoning the whole "Michael and company use their spy skills to help everyday people" premise, and instead just having Michael do off-the-books CIA missions. By all rights the show should've ended with season five and then maybe had a TV movie to wrap up loose ends.

Walking Dead. When they killed Beth. Then half a season was just like “Negan is coming” dude wasn’t even there yet and I was already sick of him.
Daryl shouting “WHO NEGAN!?” and then blowing up two of his goons with a rocket launcher was the official ending of the show for me.

Supernatural had a similar issue where they kept escalating and forgot that part of its charm was the monster of the week episodes.

I remember in the 'Series Fauxnale' thread I started some weeks back that I considered 'Fatal Attractions' the ending of the series because of the big final battle taking Magneto off the map for years as a baddie and Logan getting his adiantium ripped out, but got pushback for the suggestion because too many things were left inconclusive and open-ended, and they suggested 'Eve of Destruction' and the end of the Legacy Virus instead. I still prefer Fatal Attractions though. Claremont's original departure is cited as the 'true' ending too for a number of fans, even if it was also open-ended.

Cobra Kai. I was really into it until the last season, and when that ended I'm like "I think I've had enough."
Fear the Walking Dead. I was already having trouble motivating myself to keep tuning into this, but I don't see myself going back to it. Alicia's exit, the return of Madison, and lack of consequences for Strand, and I could go on.

Stranger Things.
I loved the first three seasons but hour plus run times for episodes, I just don’t have enough energy to sit through all that.
Never went back and finished these shows all the way through 30 Rock, HIMYM (I did watch parts of the last season, and am the person on earth that actually enjoyed the last episode) and Community.
I really loved what we do in the shadows, but this last season all the characters turned into dumb ass versions of themselves. I’ll finish it eventually.

Dragonball two thirds through the Buu saga. They could have just ended after the cell games.

Dragon all two thirds through the Buu saga. They could have just ended after the cell games. I think Toriyama actually did want to, but the series was just too dang popular, so he kept it going.

The Marvel Cinematic Universe. I enjoyed WandaVision and Multiverse of Madness, but after that, nothing looks good, and the ones that showed some promise just couldn’t hold my interest. I hate that I agree with this. I think they would have been smart to take a break after Endgame, rather than double down on the content.

Before it got cancelled, I stopped caring about Westworld after Season 2.

Sort of trailed off the Pokemon anime once it went for generational soft reboots/retcons rather than try keep proper continuity.
