If they will have Jeff constantly wrestle and do a lot of hardcore spots like last year then yeah it will be really bad, the thing is to use him like how Sting has been used.
Wasn't like his 2nd singles match that reckless as match with Darby? No build no nothing. Let's just watch them break down their body and in Jeff case f** himself up even more
In 1 month he had 3 tv matches, 2 were hardcore matches(PP, AFO FCA match, Butcher/Blade tables matches).
They were about to setup a match vs the Firm but they are clearly going to cover Jeffs weaknesses and have PP and Matt do most of the work.

So cut their contracts! This is not rocket science. Jeff is a near-crippled failure of a human being that shot-up enough to kill an elephant then got behind a wheel, and Punk is a toxic drama magnet that assaulted co-workers and who nobody wants to share a locker with anymore. Infact what Jeff did was way worse. He could have taken lives that day. Once again, how many DUI's does Jimmy Uso have? It's not right but it's an industry, and not the only one, who doesn't care I also think calling Jeff a "Crippled failure" is going too far, you want to hope he can improve and better his life because this shit is a disease and it's hard to overcome. I;m not excusing his actions, but I'm also saying that wishing for him to basically go lie in a ditch isn't any better and solves nothing. Weren’t you just calling Jimmy Uso a “shit human being” who doesn’t deserve a big push just last week?

That's just booking MYGM to get ratings They didn't go crazy huh

I'm just not surprised, at all anymore. I just hope Jeff can stay out of trouble, much like the Usos.

You can only hope that his support systems are really strong and there for him every step of the way. Just try to be there for him and be a source of positive energy

This is business, some people aren't gonna like the decisions if Hardy or Punk come back... but we're a minority man, we just are. You don't have to like it, but the pop and the "WELCOME BACK" Jeff got says it all, they want to see him, and they want to see him healthy. Three wrestling companies have done this with him... just how it is. It’s already been brought up that two wrongs don’t make a right, yet you keep comparing or what many have called “whataboutism”. It’s. Jeff Hardy return thread; Can that be what’s focused upon? It is a disease. And the same things keep happening over and over and over again. One would think change is necessary. Because I think there’s a name for doing the same thing and expecting different results. Also, who brought up him lying in a ditch? Who cares what crowds want? Going by what fans want isn’t exactly a high bar, let alone when speaking of someone, suffering from that illness , on top of a plethora of physical ailments, who has repeatedly endangered the life of his own and others.

I was just bringing up his history as a whole, this happened in TNA too, I'm not trying to say anyone is better or worse, I'm saying this has happened before, that's it. My points aren't coming across well and that's on me, I wasn't trying to defend Jeff in the situation I was just saying this happens or has happened to many times with him and other athletes that I'm not surprised.

His last AEW run doesn’t give me much faith as they had a clearly hurting individual in almost weekly ladder matches or doing super dangerous high flying spots when he was struggling to move. Sadly wwe seemed to care much more about the actual human being having cut back on the craziness with him & only having him do very basic matches where he’d get the nostalgia pop for his entrance.
I wish Jeff all the luck in the world in staying clean but jumping right back into wrestling seems like a poor decision especially in a company that’s very reckless with its talent.

Going by what fans want isn’t exactly a high bar, let alone when speaking of someone, suffering from that illness , on top of a plethora of physical ailments, who has repeatedly endangered the life of his own and others. I just thought in talking about how Jeff has returned from a bout with demons, he's done it before, and he's been excused before, that was my only point of bringing anything up as to why I'm not surprised he's back again I may have been hyperbolic in that statement but calling someone a "Crippled failure of a human being" doesn't exactly sound like you want good things to happen to them, though I get not thinking highly of the guy, I've been down on Jeff and others who have made the mistakes he has, and it's frustrating to see it happen, but idk, maybe this is the only place Jeff wants to be, but I have to imagine if he screws up again, he won't be back. But at this point who could say? And I wasn't saying the crowd cheering made it ok, I was saying that it's definitely a reason he's brought back, the crowd cares about him, he moves tickets, he moves merch, despite his current 2023 self and what he's gone through. He's so bulletproof it's ridiculous from that aspect, but he's not the first person to have this happen to them and still have a large group of fans in fandoms and such. I wouldn't have brought him back, but in the end, they did, so hopefully nothing bad happens is all I can say about it at this point.

There are things that should be more important than business. I started watching AEW instead of the *other* company because the *other* company had completely lost sight of that. Now between this and the almost certainty that Punk is being allowed back to throw his diapers around again...I hope I haven't made a wrong choice.

Ok, fair, sorry, the spot was crazy I just didn't think of all the shit that could have been done that land on flat chairs was too terrible, but it is a crazy spot, and there was a risk to it I hope spots like these are behind Jeff at this point, of if you gotta do something like do a crashpad thing. Or just don't do it, you got the hardcore spots out of your system, hopefully.
