Jeff Hardy is really lucky that he hadn't caused any fatalities, and that he is an absolute one-of-a-kind bonafide generational talent. If either of these wasn't the case, his career would have been done long ago. And I think this has to be the absolute last chance, because the next one would be on a driver's license suspended for 10 years. Got to think significant prison time could be in the works if he's caught in another DUI, even for someone with his fame.

I'm delighted to see him back and looking very healthy in the process.
Jeff is a beautiful soul who like all humans has his flaws and weaknesses. Hopefully this time he finds the right path and stays on it.

I can't fathom the logic of "what we need right now to give this company a boost is Jeff Hardy." He brings nothing to the table other than liability. Evidently that's not true. AEW isn't a charity. Society's f***ed attitude towards DUIs means the guy remains incredibly popular. AEW are also about to run a huge marketing push to sell Wembley and you can bet the likes of Jeff, Christian, Jericho etc. are going to be heavily featured in that.

You can’t book Jeff or Punk for All In or any major event as the risk of them having a relapse/meltdown after tickets have been sold and fans demanding refunds is too high.

If fans book tickets for All In just because Jeff Hardy is somewhere on the card in 2023 and not for anything else, I have to think that's on them if something happens. Punk might draw more but again these guys aren't headlining the show even if they do get booked on it, and if they were to for any reason miss the show because of their own faults that's not the first time that's happened and wouldn't be the last. Card Subject to Change, for any reason.

Yes, since 2016, he was banned from 2009 till that year when he got cleared to travel with WWE again Nothing has changed from what I'm aware, those were on a drug possession charge so idk if his recent DUI even matters for that.

I'm going to just post here once because, well, 7 pages doesn't ever say to me that it's something worth going into but I will just say this;
I'm not a fan of this at all for many reasons but outside of not watching segments, there's not much I can do about it. Probably a lot of talks and discussions and tests happened so I don't think this was spur of the moment at all.
But the first sign this goes sour, Jeff feels any way off or doesn't show up to an event or anything like that, cut him. No more chances after this.
Don't TNA this and absolutely don't Jimmy Uso this.

I really, really hope this is a successful last chance saloon for Jeff, I do but I think it’s time he changes finishers, seeing him wince after doing the Swanton wasn’t good, his body just can’t hold up to do that move anymore

I noticed him wincing after giving the Swanton and it wasn't fun to watch him get up gingerly because of that.

My response was a flat "hmm. okay." when I saw it.
I'm not happy, but we'll see what happens.

I'm just going to say one thing and leave it at that - been a big fan of Matt and Jeff since i was a kid and goddamn it's been hard sometimes. I want Jeff to be back and healthy and for this time to stay healthy and clean and be able to hang his boots up on a positive note.
But
Once bitten, twice shy

This is a wait and see deal for me.
If Jeff Hardy starts having series of matches before Wembley stadium doing high risk stunts, then I'll be pissed. I know this would put a toll on his body and his mind, and it is easy for him to get back on the bottle.

Make these two STAY HOME.

As a fan, I was good with a low key retirement and healthy life style while doing rehab
I just hope that Matt doesn't carny as much as Matt always do

It does honestly feel like it's going to take an active member of the roster in WWE or AEW seriously injuring or killing themselves or someone else in a car wreck for the industry to start remotely caring about DUIs. They just happen all the time, none of them ever mean anything even when we've got footage of people blackout drunk like with Jimmy Uso, and even Sunny killing someone doesn't seem to have made anyone wake the hell up to it.

Look, I can be here all day and discuss how the American prison system is designed not to rehabilitate but to simply deal punishment AND other flaws in the system but... A guy can recover from a few mistakes. The problem is that Jeff hasn't. And in an industry that will leave people in the ditch for the smallest of things, he's gotten countless chances to redeem himself purely because he's recognizable.

They will probably book Hardy Party vs Firm for the Florida show(that show needs some help in ticket sales).
