ok, I'm confused I"ve seen ads for daytime talk shows coming back, so why is Drew Barrymore catching it for her show coming back?

Now that Drew has done the right thing and reversed course, every last one of them is going to look even worse now. |

Barrymore's show might be done no matter what since it's syndicated unlike Fallon, Meyers, Kimmel, and Colbert. If she comes back now, it looks bad. If the show stays in reruns too long, each individual station that carries it can make the decision to stop airing it, and if enough of them do, the show will be canceled.

Those are independent movie studios that aren't represented by the AMPTP. And they're SAG-AFTRA agreements, not WGA ones so it's not applicable anyway. |
