I saw some reports that said the "final" offer on Saturday was tweaked a little in the Sunday negotiations so I hope the writers got everything they asked for.

I've been in a union before that put an agreement before its members and the members rejected it though, so it can happen!

There's been something so unbelievably fake about her for years as she tried to stay relevant, and now she can't hide behind that anymore.

Sort of a testament to that fakeness is how easy it is to forget that Drew comes about as close to aristocracy as anyone in Hollywood. Lionel Barrymore won Best Actor at the FOURTH Academy Awards in 1931.

Also, her (and others) getting shut down almost immediately might have let the AMPTP know there was no easy way around the writers like there was last Writer's Strike.

Pretty much. That, the new California law and the shareholders basically wanting heads became a domino effect to get the AMPTP back on the table to stop messing around and get it done.

EXCLUSIVE: (Updated with SAG-AFTRA statement) As the WGA leadership and members move forward on the scribes’ tentative agreement with the studios and streamers, the 160,000-strong actors union could be sitting down with the AMPTP within days.

Riding the momentum that has hit Hollywood since the WGA and the Alliance of Motion Picture and Television Producers struck a deal on September 24, SAG-AFTRA leaders have penciled in meetings with the Carol Lombardini-led group by the end of next week, we hear.

As always in labor relations, the situation is fluid, and no negotiation has truly started until all participants are seated at the bargaining table. “We have no confirmed dates scheduled and there will not be meetings with the AMPTP this week,” a SAG-AFTRA spokesperson said Tuesday. “When we do have dates confirmed, we will inform our members. No one should rely on speculation.”
