If you really think about it, it's weird that it has only been 2-3 years since these days. Three years for the Performance Center and almost a full two years since the last Thunderdome show. However, it feels like it has been longer than that. It reminds me of the beginning of that Vegas episode of "The Simpsons" when Marge was telling everyone about Mr. Burns's casino.
Marge: Remember how excited we were when this place opened? Then a week later we just forgot about it. Lisa: I'm surprised they bothered to move it when they moved the town. Homer: Oh, I can explain that. You see ...
It was a weird time for everyone, but it's also weird looking back on these days, particularly.

Can't we all just get beyond Thunderdome?

The performance center and thunder dome was cool the first month or so but afterwards it was hard to watch. I don’t think I can ever watch Wrestlemania 36 or Royal Rumble 2021 ever again.

I liked how, for NXT, WWE stacked the screens directly on top of each other. It reminded me of the big video wall the company used in the early ‘90s, when wrestlers’ logos appeared onscreen as they walked to the ring.

It was so dystopian, like something out of an episode of Black Mirror.
I'm sure one day I'll take a look at some of what I've missed over the last few years but I can't imagine ever wanting to look back at anything on those shows (that wasn't a cinematic match).
That's no relation to the descion to take that approach though, not like there were any good options.

It's the rare era of wrestling that I have little to no desire to relive outside of a few matches and the Sasha/Bayley stuff.

I remember that the Performance Center was such a hasty choice at first that they didn't have the lighting down correctly, probably showcased most obviously by Nikki Cross's pants being rendered transparent on some episode. The lighting was just too harsh.

I can't watch any of the PC era stuff anymore. The only thing I miss from those days is Boogs and Shotzi acting a fool in the crowd.

My favorite thing coming out of it is all the talk and respect for McIntyre.
“He single handidly carried the company through the pandemic!”
He was the best of a bad situation. I don’t think he did anything particularly good or interesting during that time. The minute Roman came back, he was the best thing on both shows.
Arguably Sasha and Bayley did more fun work in that time.

The lighting was just too harsh. Well I think we can all give the production crew a pass on the very early shows in the PC, as they needed to move in a quick period of time. I know there was criticism of WWE and AEW continuing to do shows during that time, but personally it was a welcome distraction in a very odd and scary time, but I can’t rewatch any of it.

The Performance Center era was like a Fever Dream, The Cinematic Matches (Especially Street Profits Vs Viking Raiders, MITB and the Cena vs Wyatt match), The Eye For An Eye match, RAW Underground, Retribution, Undertaker quickly walking to the ring without a shirt and throwing everything around, 3:16 Day
All that combined with no fans in complete silence, it was like watching a Fever Dream version of WWE

Raw Underground may be the single weirdest thing they did during this era, and it was an era that had an Eye for an Eye match, Retribution, and Randy Orton setting the Fiend on fire.

Still baffled why they openly had Austin reading his promo off cue cards on the first RAW in the PC. Like, was he aware this wasn't a rehearsal?

I recently watched Drew vs. Brock at Mania. It's so sad to see such a big moment take place in a setting like that.

I think some of that came from how Drew was this extremely boring heel for what felt like just short of a century, so him getting a needed face turn during that whole time period also earned a lot of good will, as did beating Lesnar in their feud of sorts.

In that feud, Brock only got the better of McIntyre all of once (the Raw after the Rumble). People were also sick of Brock after Kofimania ending and everyone quite smartly played into that by making it clear that Drew not only had Brock's number but also had a cool build-up to his finisher in doing so.
