He’s going 1000 days and he’s most definitely gonna beat Pedro Morales’ record. Now he’s gotta go till September of 2024 to beat Hogan. Wrestlemania 40 is going to be a decade anniversary mania which always end in a good note (10 with Bret, 20 with Benoit/Eddie, 30 with Bryan) and Cody finally winning the title there and getting his underdog moment would be f***ing dope. But at the same time Hogan’s reign isn’t too far ahead and I can see wwe wanting to break that record as well and keep it till Mania 41 :/

Probably. Especially with another World title floating around. If I have to guess that’s why they created the new one.

That doesn’t work for me brother That was WCW. But if Hogan had pulled creative control in the mid 80's, he was probably justified. Very few were worth beating him, let alone beat him for the title. Only gripe I have is that Andre immediately vacated the belt, this having the shortest reign ever.

Nah. Not sure how much longer the chief wants to stay in the game.
Also, how many good contenders were there for hogan to drop the title to from 84-88? Macho Man is the only one that would be worth it, maybe Million Dollar Man but that's it

It can't be predetermined, can it?

Dude, we've been through this before. If the question has anything to do with Roman breaking a record, the response is "yes", and if it has anything to do with losing the title, the answer is no.

No. He's what? Halfway? Cody and his stupid neck tattoo and middle aged dye job will beat him, don't worry.

If he retains the belt at Summerslam 2024, mathematically he beats it. So my proposal is Roman vs Hogan, Summerslam 2024, streak on the line. Possibly Hogan's life on the line, that's not my problem though.

The year is 2027, Roman Reigns is mere months away from breaking Bruno Sammartino's 2,803 day title reign record, after successfully defending against a cybernetically enhanced Max Halloway at a special attraction match for Powerslap's biggest PPV yet, The Legend of Zelda: The Minish Slap which is a co-promotion with, inexplicatly, a Four Swords Adventures remake. In an interview, Paul Heyman waxes poetic about how 'the chase is the real draw' and impatient wrestling fans being denied what they want is just going to make them pay more money. Someone with an axe breaks through the window of the cafe Heyman is giving this interview and tries to kill him like it's the opening of In The Mouth of Madness. The next match for Roman is a match against the kid from David After Dentist, who is now fully grown and an NFT billionaire who pro wrestles on the side.
Someone makes a poll on FAN asking if Roman is going to beat Bruno's record for real. The vote is 30/70 split yes to no.
