Stop acting like people aren't talking sense, both outcomes are on the table now but something said in a casual conversation shown on Twitter doesn't tell us anything for certain, especially given network Fox's current programming and the seeming lack of spots available.

IF, and that's a very big IF, AEW were to go to FOX proper rather than FS1, can we rule it out being on Monday nights from 8 to 9pm or 9 to 10pm opposite Raw on Netflix?

There is going to be a big void of no pro wrestling on TV every Monday night. I know streaming is the new wave, but a lot of people might still like turning on their TV and getting rasslin' every Monday night. In the 18-49 demo at least, AEW would probably outperform Name That Tune, which has been running on FOX recently.

I've been saying Collision should go to Mondays for that very reason. I think AEW would be insane to ignore this opportunity, even if WWE would counter program as has been the reason people say they shouldn't. That vacuum of no wrestling on cable on Mondays after 31 years is insane to not take advantage of.

WWE got cancelled by fox because for the money fox was paying, they never got return from advertising. WWE was highest rated show on network most weeks, but still got canned. Anybody who falls for Alfred's posts is ill informed.

Alfred Konuwa being given fast nationals of Smackdown ratings versus college football ratings is the most jaded, bitter ex shit imaginable and it cements my confidence that AEW and Fox are doing something because the only reason for this is to try and lay some petty ground work

Just a thought - the announcement kind of has to be soon, very soon, since the deal ends on 12/31 and they're up to mid-December now in announcing future dates. So for them to announce anything past 2024 with the logo and TV network on, they need the deal in place.

The more I think about it, if NXT ended up on, say, Tuesdays on FS1 in a double bill with WWE Backstage, FOX might have been willing to let them on there for a bit longer. That move basically made FOX seem like the B channel for the off because they were chasing the WCW Nitro tactic with AEW.

Yeah, they mentioned it on Collision over the weekend. I got the email, but they claim I only ordered 1 event. I feel like they sent the same thing to everyone, but there are 12 in my library, and I will fuss until I know for sure if I'm going to get all of them lol.
