Just cause I saw the attendance mentioned, I'm gonna be fair and address that in good faith.

AEW has basically decided that they're gonna make shows look more intimate. They've made stag bigger, ramp shorter, and have moved seats closer to the ring. We are seeing (at least per WrestleTix) that based off of distributed tickets AEW is selling well. We also are seeing when AEW does a big show and opens more seating they tend to sell very well too.

I'm guessing the bigger arenas is also due to cheaper deals/relationships

You wouldn't know it judging by how much we spotlight people picking holes in things and the constant social media grifting, but wrestling is in a f***ing great place. Two strong companies with a ton of talent in both, taking different approaches to the artform to the extent that if one doesn't do anything for you, the other probably does, and neither of them are in any danger of going arse-up anytime soon barring complete unforeseen and unpredictable disaster. We're doing OK, you know.

Sort of...my understanding is that the FTC promulgated a rule banning non-competes, but preexisting clauses applying to "senior executives" were allowed to remain in full force and effect. D'Amore probably qualified as a "senior executive," so I'm guessing his non-compete is still being enforced if there is one.

EDIT: The FTC's Rule is also apparently non-final and currently being litigated in Federal Court.

The ban was overturned by multiple federal courts and isn’t going into effect.

I'm really glad for it. Since the beginning, I've connected with AEW in a way I never managed with other WWE alternatives despite my best efforts (looking at you, TNA). I'm happy they're doing well enough to land a deal this good, and will be around for the long haul.

Hell, I'd love to see a third major American promotion that can at least compete somewhat with WWE and AEW in terms of pay and exposure. There's a lot of talent out there and only so many roster spots in the two companies.

Out of all the grifters out there, I despise Alfred Konuwa the most. Yes, even more than the Kentucky Fried. I despise Konuwa the most because he not only actively uses his race as a weapon to engage in the most disingenuous and quite frankly racist takes against AEW and its fans in order to get clicks, but he also uses his race as a shield to avoid criticism for his disingenuous and racist takes.
