Coach tries to thread the line later on by saying he wants AEW to succeed, more companies means more work means more good, and he was with WWE when they had no competition and he saw how bad it was. Which is all well and good as a thing, but it's not making him seem like he credibly just actually cares, it's making him seem like he's stirring shit for engagement and then pulling back when he gets heat like everyone else who pays for twitter. Click on his profile to see his AEW takes and then while you're there, click the affiliate link to a sports betting website in his bio

I think off the top of my head that includes Bully Ray, Eric Bischoff, and Paul London I am sure there are more. The ones who are just influencer accounts I just ask... why? Like WWE isn't going to hire you (nor will AEW for the pro AEW accounts) so why get so toxic and flammatory to one product?

The influencers are just chameleons who try and gear their content towards whatever is trendy and generates clicks. A lot of the same dudes who are currently "dancing on AEW's grave" were celebrating AEW as the impending destroyers of WWE in 2020-21 when AEW was a hot product.

Until social platforms literally stop rewarding troll accounts, stuff like that will exist. It’s best to just ignore them. I feel sorry for the folks that run them. It’s sad.

The fact that people are still twisting themselves in knots trying to sh*t on this deal is hilarious. Meltzer calling in receipts was great too. It's the tribalist of tribalism to shit on this deal and be angry that wrestling and wrestlers got a major win in the industry because it wasn't WWE But I'm not shocked a dude like Coachman who was there the entire run of WWE that basically pounded it into everyone's heads that WCW was always a failure, would still think he had to shove a whole boot down his throat.

Thing is WWE would hire those influencer accounts and pay for them to shit on AEW, promote WWE, and use their stuff on TV or then on preshows. They're the egret to WWE's golden calf.

Because polarized loudmouth garbage is an easy way to get attention on twitter, mostly. Like, every blue checkmark account who does this shit is just drooling for nickels now that twitter blue has their pyramid scheme 'revenue sharing' feature. They want lcicks, they want response, thyey want the engagement that makes their posts show up more and they want to drive as much traffic onto themselves as they can. None of these clowns are getting hired, but twitter incentivizes being hell people for attention.

Meltzer on Observer Radio laid out the what seems now obvious point about why the PPVs will be available at a discount on Max but not free with a subscription. WBD is not in a position to be able to lose more money than the company already is as a whole. PPVs on Peacock has been a good success for WWE money wise, but it hasn’t exactly netted Peacock a lot of money. Doing it this way is attractive to WBD because they still can make more than just the subscription cost on PPVs. In regards to Peacock it probably helps that WWE network already ate the PPV costs years ago itself compared to AEW still making independent money on them.

BTW I went to the thread on /r/AskLegal and every single reply is either making fun of the OP or telling them to go to therapy.

I also wanna see what working the guy did that led him to the Shad Khan investment answer. We didn't cover that one in Uni calculus.

I'm very much assuming that thing on Reddit is just a joke but nothing would really surprise me at this point. I saw a comment saying the guy had the Shibata operation but they forgot to put the brain back in which made laugh and then feel a bit guilty for doing so.
