Not likely to be any correlation; Fox's Mexico branch is going to be its own semi-independent being that fills its own programming in its own ways, Fox getting AEW's Mexico rights doesn't even have any real impact on any US Fox deal. Yeah, what deals happen in other countries mean literally nothing to what happens in the US.
Besides it's not on Fox Mexico, but Fox Sports Mexico.

With recent stacked cards and with Wrestledream coming up they can't be expected to stack another card like previous head-to-heads with NXT.

Yeah, it's well to remember that WCW before and after their big successes in the Monday NIght Wars operated in the red big time. Before Turner would just continue because he loved wrestling but after the wars success, he wasn't able to protect them any longer from the losses. I'm sure the big years they had still puts them overall as profitable, but probably not as much as you'd think. |

I was looking at Tuesday's broadcast ratings and really think a show equal to Dynamite would blow away what FOX put out in the 18-49 demo and quite likely beat NXT (FOX is a much bigger network after all). It'd have fewer viewers than FOX's current offering but since we've long been told the 18-49 is more important than P2+, that shouldn't matter. It's a day I think they could consider because as far as I know NFL is rarely on Tuesdays and I'd rather see AEW go up against NXT than NFL. I think AEW could beat every 18-49 rating here except ABC and NBC if they book the show well. That is important, it would have to be star-loaded, well-produced, fresh and feel like an equal, if not an upgrade from Dynamite (broadcast TV > cable, so there's an argument for making Shockwave the new A+ show if they get a deal of this magnitude). I'd hope it has a completely different production feel and commentary team. I'd try and get Riccaboni to front it, if not maybe Mauro Ranallo. I really think they have to get away from the tired old Excalibur/Schiavone choices for this show, wherever it lands.  |

I'm glad the AEW Magnitude guy got banned because he was a lunatic racist, but I also really wish we'd gotten like, a week of him running roughshod all over the place first jut to see how much history the guy could build up in that short time frame. |

I feel like there's a critical amount of AEW lore I'm missing, what even is this lmao. We had a weird new poster who came here who kept going on about AEW launching a new show called Magnitude. Then he apparently got super racist. I didn't see the racist posts myself though. I f***ing hate saying this because it WAS extremely racist and awful but I’ve never seen a troll quite like that. It was like if a da vinci painting stuck around for a half hour and then when you looked away for a second, now the portrait is in blackface. Only troll on here I’ve actually been in awe of, this guy was 99% microplastics. I was losing my shit. |
