I don’t understand the “this our biggest show ever but you’ll have to find your own way to the arena!” It can’t be true that no one had a car service. lol It's especially weird as many of the wrestlers traveled directly from the Dynamite/Collision tapings and were on the same plane. You'd think AEW would have a coach or something waiting to pick them up. I understand it for TV tapings when everyone is on different flights and getting in at different times but in this circumstance and in a foreign country, you'd think they'd shuttle people around. |

NEVER has a company’s backstage bullshit made me not want to watch a second more of it like AEW’s has. Just a bunch of absolute whining, childish assholes. Tony needs to be the boss and have a f***ing spine. I’d call a meeting, tell one and all they could be professional, work together, and stop acting like kids or f*** off. Hell, make them fight it out and get it over with, if you have to.

Am I saying not to blame Khan at all though? No. They tried, and it seems to have failed in quick order
They just need to cut their losses and have this be the end of it.

So genuine question where did all this "Punk is WBD's guy" stuff start? When it's been absolutely confirmed by everyone that Punk (and Christian) are one of if not Khan's favorite wrestlers...I mean the guy cheered personally at gorilla with his headset on when Punk returned after screwing up stuff for HIS company...it's ate up...
I feel like WBD is starting to float both ways depending on how the narrative goes when it's been clear from Day 1 that Punk is a Khan call
(I get it hes an IL guy as well and we are all a bit off our rocker)

I will give zero credit to Tony if this finally ends Punk because he never should have come back in the first place and there's still someone on the undercard who worked babyface and retained his belt after threatening someone with a gun while drivingGod in all of this shit I f***ing forgot about Cash. Even as someone who said it was fair to be anxious about AEW not suspending Cash until Wembley because we had no reference for Tony ever letting people drop a belt before startting suspension, the fact that they retained really got eclipsed but wow yeah no that's still powerf***ed. I blame the Punk story and the hammer shitposting. God Tony's a mess Ehh… Jimmy Uso got his 5th DUI in ten years and got a tag title a week later. That’s just how companies roll with tag teams., |

I don't buy that this is good for business is the only reason I question their undying support above Khan's...To them it's all a bottom line I am sure and not nearly as personal |

Posted this in another forum, but you would have hated every era of wrestling outside of this, because it was much, MUCH worse: -Fights all the time -Xpac crapping in other people's bags/food -Shawn/Bret taking shots at each other on TV for a full year -Arrests -JBL assaulting Blue Meanie in the ring -Del Rio slapping around the Miz -JBL bullying and fighting announcers -The Lita/Edge/Hardy saga -Jerry Lawler getting indicted for sondemy with an under age child -Pat Pattersson being investigated for sexual misconduct on three separate occasions -Muhammad Hassan getting bullied en masse -Sid stabbing Arn -Marty Jannetty -A few dozen wrestlers quitting because of being bullied in the ruthless aggression era -Rene Depree being called that F-work by most of the locker room, instead of people using his name -Micky James having adult photos of her being posted around a locker room -Sunny cheating on Candido with HBK 2 rooms away in an arena -Sunny doing drug smuggling of international borders -Hogan changing main events during shows -general racism -Goldberg fighting Jericho -Kat flashing her boobs on PPV -Mae Young flashing her boobs on PPV -The Bulldogs and the Rougeaus fighting weekly for a near calendar year, that caused Dynamite and Jacques to both have long term injuries -etc etc Like, I know they are a product of another era, but have ANY of you watched the old RF Video shoots before? |
