Last night was a step in the right direction for BCG. Jay and Juice looked unhinged as they held Schiavone hostage facing FTR. RICKY(!) chasing them off and calling Jay out was also money.
They're coming off as annoying pests right now, which is good heel work, but you can tell they can/will ramp things up when it comes time to win gold, and I would not mind BCG taking the belts off FTR.

I have mixed opinions on it so I'm going to go average. It's been good in terms of the quality of work, but I do feel like they haven't really done much to actually make him come across as a big deal, though more than anything he's just kind of, "Yeah, he's there," to me right now.
I think it's good so far. It could be better, but it's still pretty solid. And I think he's got great chemistry with Juice Robinson, too. Starks was a good first feud and BC Gold is already getting into a title feud with FTR. Last night was also where Jay really got to shine with the live promo. And he did it without a single f-bomb!
Really curious to see who else joins the Bang Bang Gang. Jay's an opportunist and he's not going to get at a seeming numbers disadvantage with FTR and Starks without something up his sleeve. I'm guessing El Phantasmo (who is a really good wrestler and anyone who hasn't watched him wrestle is in for a treat), but maybe it's someone already on the AEW roster.

I want Big Bill to join them entirely so he can be renamed Bullet Bill.

I'm going to abstain from voting because the correct answer, "too early to tell," isn't an option.
I agree with the point that was made by SRS that it feels like AEW was so shocked that WWE didn't sign Switchblade that they rushed to bring him in without having a real entry plan in place. So far, his run has been largely inconsequential, but I think his alliance with Juice has a lot of potential, and he's definitely been presented as an upper tier wrestler and a threat. Last night's promo was a major step in the right direction in terms of developing his character, but it's clear that AEW has big plans for him. Even though he's maybe been treading water, he's been on TV every single week since he debuted in a company whose most valid criticism is how bloated the roster feels, and how scarce TV time is.
I think we have to give it a few more months before we make any real meaningful decision on how his AEW run has gone. If he's still sort of floundering on the fringes of the upper midcard in August, I would probably vote "bad." If he and Juice take the tag titles and put on banger matches while running the division, I would probably vote "good." If he starts pushing up the card as a single wrestler and is in World Title contention, I may be inclined to vote "perfect." It's just way too early to know.
It is a thing to factor in though. The guy's only been here for so long and now it feels like they're actively giving him and Ricky more of a focus
I actually want to see how Collision starts giving talents more of a focus and more concentrated storylines as well because I feel that's only gonna be beneficial for Jay, Ricky, and the Bullet Club Gold angle
Not good, however in this instance that's fine. Don't really want him being a big deal fairly quick, better that he slowly builds power and then takes his place in the upper echelons of the roster.

I feel like stuff like this is just an open invitation to dunk on Jay White and his AEW Booking when it really feels like he's just gotten here for anything to truly happen, but people just want to say it's "Not good" to make it feel like Jay made the wrong decision in going here or something. It's a really weird sentiment I see around Jay White specifically.

No, it’s to discuss how people think a popular free agent is doing in the company he picked.

I mean it's been a month so he hasn't done much and given he debuted with most main guys in a program for the PPV, he's done fine. He did get a big pop at the PPV which was cool and he killed his first in ring promo so I'm feeling good about it moving forward.
It's been a slow start, and I wish he and Starks could have had a rematch at DoN with a more decisive finish instead of going into a battle royal, but last night was a step in the right direction for White.

He's been featured on TV weekly since his debut, he's involved in a feud and seems to be in the proccess of building up a stable, I'd say he's off to a good start
Average. For a guy of his caliber they really didn’t have a concrete plan for him when he walked in the door
I don't know if they did, but that's because all reports saw him going to WWE until WWE "Stopped talking to him"
I don't know if I exactly blame that on AEW if Jay's initial plan was WWE. But they put him with Starks, a pretty hot act who can go, and now it's building since the PPV passed. I think now we're gonna start to see him and Bullet Club Gold take a next step
