They'll lose some viewers not everyone has Netflix or is gonna pay 20 bucks a month to watch WWE, especially kids. I think the real question here, is will they use all the TV money bumps to pay talent or will they use it to pump their stock prices.. Haven't they been handing out big extensions already? Cody, Bayley, and Charlotte got the đź’° recently and I imagine more folks will get theirs as well

Like, Charlotte being paid the same yearly as a second string quarterback in the NFL and it being called the biggest for a women’s wrestler feels like something that shouldn’t be the case with the money floating around now.

Since the Peacock deal is until 2026, I wonder what they'll do about the RAW archives there.

You know... cable was/is considerably cheaper than paying for every streaming service that contains what I want to see.
Where did we go wrong in all of this?

RAW not being on the USA Network and not on Cable TV is gonna be really really weird
It also says "Every week" and it doesn't specifically say Monday, RAW off Mondays would be even weirder

Streaming was great until every network/company decided they wanted a piece of the pie. A lot of people pay for them on cycles, this one for a month watch what I want, cancel move to another and so forth. All of this is going to lead to piracy coming back in a big way though.

Paramount will probably end up buying another one And Amazon etc Eventually all of these services are going to get paired down, there's to many.

Paramount is in the same spot as Disney and WBD in how they’re not making as much as they should and trying different ways to make money so, again, it’ll have to be a different way.

Didn't read all the thread. But I've read that as outside the US, WWE will pretty much have their entire output, TV included will be in Netflix.

A lot of companies are bleeding money on streaming and the relentless, several-times-a-year price hikes each of them gets are having a negative impact on interest and in people even bothering to maintain multiple subs just to get access to all the stuff they want. I don't think Netflix is going south in the next few years or anything, but I do think as companies reach the limits of what they can pump into streaming services running at a net loss, some huge dominoes are going to need to fall. Netflix going for WWE and Amazon making moves for sports all stand out as efforts to try and lock in some dedicated audiences now, before things get shakier, so they have a better position once the bottom starts falling out.

Netflixes anti-sharing policy rubbed a ton of people the wrong way.

Basically, any place that doesn’t already have a TV/Network deal in place will likely be able to access stuff on Netflix. It’s not as big a list with places like France and Germany signing deals last year but it has the potential to be a substantial amount in the next while.

Comcast just had Disney buy out their stake in Hulu, so they might not be trying to juggle multiple streaming services.

It sounded from the wording that the Network was being wound up in the UK for example as the suggestion was SD/NXT and PLEs are to be on Netflix as well.
