I'm stuck on the Main Quest, Entangled. You warp between two different "dimensions" and I think I'm near the end but I can find the lab. LOL. I gave up last night after like an hour or so and will start back up tonight or tomorrow. This is the mission I’m on now and it’s making me question my plan to do all of what I assume are multiple endings for this game. Big time momentum killer in an otherwise great game.

My recommendation to get into things quickly: as soon as you can pick what you want to do in New Atlantis, go to MAST and join the Vanguard. This is good in that it gives you a very basic outline of the history of this universe literally in the next room after signing up.

And gives you access to the simulator where you can train your piloting skills.

Yeah, when you realise you can drift in combat it's a game changer.

Stupid question.... is there a way to start a mission over from the start? I'm stuck in a spot where I have basically no health/no med pack or trauma pack and the path i need to go to has a spot where I wall blows in and kills me instantly. Earlier saves are essentially the same situation and my only other option is to back near the beginning of the game. I'm really pissed I'm in this situation.

I never get tired of reading comments like 'after 150 hours I'm done with this game!!!!!'. Although it does sometimes seem like people go 'you what?' when I say I'm just enjoying the game. I'm guessing certain 'content creators' suddenly realised it wasn't a buggy piece of shit and had to find something else about the game to get the hits. Is it perfect? Heck no, but it hits the sweet spot for me. One week Starfield, next week BG3, with Cyberpunk chippin' in (decided to start again seeing how everything had changed, skills-wise). I'm eating well, RPG-wise

I'm still playing it and enjoying it. My OCD with going to a planet and then having to survey it completely gets very time consuming, but I still enjoy it.

This is a game I will likely never beat for this reason. I’m way too distracted by *EVERYTHING* I haven’t touched the main quest since the mission where Sarah follows you, and it’s been… a lot of hours!

Really like the new quality of life updates in the new patch, and that Bethesda finally backtracked on the lack of vehicles, but, man...if ever a gaming company defined Kendrick Lamar's "Loving You is Complicated", it's BGS.
I love that they're adding a lot of --- presumably --- good stuff into one of the more ambitious (for better or worse) games I've ever played. And it's good that they're going to continue to support it in lieu of the hype being as low as it's ever been. Other Bethesda games have received additions over time, after all.
But this time feels different to me. Bethesda's odd history with its fanbase, including the Fallout 4 patch aftermath, can't be ignored. I almost think fans are starting to have enough, at least that's what the discourse says.
And part of me thinks, for as much as I've played and actually enjoyed the game, and for as hyped as I was before release --- hadn't felt that way about a game in years --- maybe another year of delays and fine tuning would have made the difference.
It's fair to say this wasn't the Killer App that would finally turn the tide for Microsoft, but there's still hope that it can become as memorable --- and enjoyable --- as it is ambitious. I'm having a good time, but I can't help but think something's missing, aside from my own wishes to have Fallout 4's awesome junk/materials system implemented.

It's a game that I have been quite happy to dip into occasionally and explore a planet. I've always enjoyed it when I've played it.

Not counting games they've just published like ESO or Dishonored, I haven't really loved a Bethesda-developed game since TES3: Morrowind.
