Wizards core: 2023 7th Overall Pick Deni Avidja Corey Kispert Uhh.......... Yeah, they are going to be really bad the next 3-5 years. They should've kept Rui. Rui is ass, they did right trading him since they weren't going to pay him However, they should have traded Kuzma as well since he was playing well and on an expiring deal. Last GM did them bad

That's what gets me most, the fact that Ayton wasn't included. That's just asinine. Wizards didn't want long term salary back which is why they didn't talk to other teams with young controllable pieces Wizards: We don't want to take salary back. Suns: Well we gave basically all our firsts for KD. Wizards:

Wizards: Like I said David Stern would not have let this trade thru but Stern has no spine No reason Wiz should not be getting a significant package for a player like Beal but they just want to dump his salary and Phoenix is in will now mode with 4 max salaries on a team

Gotta make sure you hit that sweet spot of being nowhere near contending, but not bad enough to give your fans any hope of a franchise player in the draft either. The Wizards have walked that line as well as any franchise in sports the last 30 years.

I realize the Wiz just wanted to dump Beal’s salary, and options were probably limited due to his NTC, but holy crap that’s a bad trade for them. Say what you want about his talent, you don’t trade an all star as a salary dump in the NBA. What a waste of an asset.

The Wizards have walked that line as well as any franchise in sports the last 30 years. The Wizards franchise need their own 30 for 30 because they have been run like shit. Matter fact, let's list it out - Gilbert Arenas flames out and they luck up to get John Wall in the draft - John Wall gets max deal, tear achilles and gets traded (they traded their own 2023 pick (which they were able to keep cause it was protected) and got Westbrook - Traded Brodie for KCP (traded for Monte Morris and Will Barton), Kuzma (About to get nothing for him), Harrell (traded for Ish Smith and Vernon Carey Jr) - Signed Beal to the 2nd highest contract in NBA history and gave him a NTC (Traded him for CP3, Shamat and 2nd round picks) They have nothing to show for trading their two star players. New Orleans and OKC were able to reshape their franchises to at least give them hope by stockpiling picks for their stars

Washington really said “just take him from us for nothing” huh. Crazy to think CP3 was two games away from winning it all in Phoenix just to drop four in a row, bro’s legacy woulda been set.

Anytime a big superstar is traded, and he is going to a Western Conference team is a win for the Knicks. If the Knicks can't get the guy, sent him West.

My favourite part about the Beal trade is that Miami's offer for him was rumoured to be Kyle Lowry, Victor Oladipo, and or Duncan Robinson. They were so f***ing close to getting the 90 Million Dollar Man off their books.

Deandre Ayton is gonna be so salty that he gets even fewer shots with Beal jacking up 20-25 instead of Paul's 10-12.
Also, who gonna run the point in PHX?

Booker most likely He needs the ball more than KD/Beal does who both can play off the ball really well. Tho, in a perfect world, KD/Beal/Booker can all average 5 assist a game. I can see KD at this point in his career playing more point forward as well since Booker and Beal means he doesn't have to put up 30 a night KD getting something like 22 ppg, 5asst and 7rebs works well for them

Which is why people were mad at him for joining GSW because the man is an unfair matchup If not for the injuries, I do think he would had broke the scoring record surpassing LeBron once he retired but even then, we still talking about someone that is sitting number 13 at the moment and will break into the Top 10. He is still really the Suns best player but he doesn't have to be. His ability to make Booker and Beal better should put them at championship level That also depends on getting lazy ass Ayton to play

Wizards aren’t a contender and Beal hasn’t played a full season in a minute and has only had 4 seasons where he played 70 games or more. No sense in paying him to sit on the bench and be a bad team when you can get rid of his contract.
Those Beal/Wall teams where the Wizards were actually a contender will always be a good memory but it’s time to move it on along.

Just gonna wait on whatever the f*** the Sixers are gonna do and who they're gonna sign
Big thing is moving Harris, until that happens we can't do shit, gotta f***ing get this contract outta here, it's time.
And I'm really glad we aren't getting Beal cause his contract is f***ing worse lmfao

I saw some rumblings that harden might be linked to the suns. Now it's truly down to the rockets and 76ers. Philly can't let him walk, but they'd be fools to give him a long term max deal
