There have been sitting US Congressmen who made public statements laying blame squarely at Joe Biden’s feet. There have been those that say that woke policies is to blame. Hell, I’m still waiting to see dumbasses blame the deaths on the Covid vaccine. The COVID vaccine was injected into the submarine which was actually a gay virus invented by Joe Biden in a bid to destroy the sub and take over the world. I'll be shocked if this doesn't actually become a theory!

That’s a little unfair towards White Star Lines. They didn’t skimp on the building materials and the ship carried far more lifeboats than legally required. There were mistakes made o that evening, but not because anyone cut any corners. Leaving the keys to the crowsnest in England seems like a giant f***ing mistake. It was a key to a locker in the crows nest that contained binoculars. Probably wasn't a factor. If it was that urgent, they could have just broken into the locker. It was a dark new moon night with calm seas and no waves breaking around the iceberg. They had no chance, even with binoculars.

Has this video been posted? This guy gives a little behind the scenes look before the tragedy.

The Carpathia also made mistakes that evening as well.

TMZ have published the "death waiver", and several high profile lawyers have commented that it's about as watertight as the Titan itself, as gross negligence should not be difficult to prove given the laundry list of concerns and warnings given over the construction of the sub. Why would anybody get inside that thing after reading that? Clause 2 is enough for me to back out. Even though I don't have $250k lying around.

That waiver is almost exactly the same as the one I had to sign when I ate at Arby’s last week

Saw news of attempts to retrieve the wreckage and the deceased.. They should just leave it all there. Sorry if this is upsetting.. but it’s just wreckage and dead bodies.. leave them to the elements down there. There is a reason they leave most of corpses of climbers on Mount Everest… too much effort and too dangerous to retrieve. they're recovering the wreckage for the same reason plane wreckage is recovered, to see exactly what went wrong to prevent further tragedies like this happening again. It's unlikely they will recover much of those lost due to the pressure exerted in the implosion and scavengers on the sea bottom. I doubt they are going to recover anything of the people inside that thing when it imploded. The pressure, the currents, the sheer depths, the area and that the sub imploded make it highly unlikely. It was basically a tube made of mostly carbon fiber, a material and structure that nothing going to that depth should have been made of, and with a window that was rated for a depth of 1300m. It's pretty clear what went wrong.

And, of course, the "go woke, go broke" crowd have proven there's no depths they won't sink to (I tried to avoid the pun) to push their agenda and seized upon a video where the CEO talked about not hiring "50 year-old white guys" because it's "not inspirational." Or – and just hear me out on this – maybe it was because the 50 year-old white guys were telling the CEO his janky submersible was a death trap? Sadly I am not surprised....as like any tragedy, any occasion even, is cause for people to snipe at each other. And it's been like that for some time now. My heart goes out to the victims and the people that loved them. And I was right. As pretty much you either feel sorry for the victims or think they were stupid. There's no middle ground. (EDIT: Reads the above....unfortunately the only other groups are the people who did/will come up with those wacky theories...)

I'll be shocked if this doesn't actually become a theory! Maybe Antifa sabotaged the sub? What about the captain's emails? I think between this and the above, we covered everything. Oh yeah, the only thing that can save us is if JFK Jr. goes back in time and rescues the sub, then stops the celebrities from eating babies, then he reinstates...OK I've gone far enough here.

I feel sorry for the teenager who was on that thing and the four others, though for very different reasons.

#6 is oddly hilarious to me. You mean there's not a hospital at the bottom of the sea? What are the mermaids doing down there? Geesh

The legal system being what it is, you really do have to try to cover every possible angle no matter how asinine, because if you don't there's a very good chance of it biting you in the ass in court. Like, nobody gets into a submersible expecting there to be hospital facilities close at hand if shit goes south, but the courts will absolutely award in favour of anybody harmed if you didn't explicitly make them fully aware of the fact. Of course, most people don't get into submersibles that have a 100% chance of catastrophically failing at some point.
