But which title…

International makes the most sense and is the most prestigious but few problems with that. One is I really desperately want Swerve to get it next but then again, you could have someone finally defeat OC and then have that person lose it to Cole almost immediately.

Puts over that anything can happen with the title and also shows just how impressive OC’s run was. You could even have both of these guys just be really likable heels with so much gold. There’s a lot you could do, I seriously hope that Tony doesn’t just have one of them turn on each other and that’s it.

All the eventual MJF turn will do is make me roll my eyes at the whole thing. MJF refuses to have his character evolve in any way.

You know what DID shock me? RK-Bro. It was so obvious that Orton would turn on Riddle. But he didn't. The on-screen friendship was genuine.

And that's the only thing that would shock me about MJF/Cole team. If they became true friends. No one turns. Both support each other. And MJF evolves as a character.

I feel like, again, the issue comes down to what do you do instead. Who do you have win the Royal Rampage to take MJF on at All Out (and yes, I have read the spoilers so technically we know but this isn't really the topic for it until it airs) and who do you have take him on at All In?

Because the original point of all this was to lead to a rematch because of how the Eliminator ended but if this is to continue (and I think there's enough legs on it until at least Full Gear) you need to build a suitable replacement. Do you use the tag title match to set up MJF/Punk because of the bag? Do you spend the month elevating Jay White for the match? You can't have either of them involved in the "Alliance Against Omegamania" angle nor can you have them involved in much else without making it seem like a lesser match.

I'm personally just struggling what you do without making it seem like something people are going to be snobbish about.

The world title is the big issue here. If Max wasn't champion you could call an audible and just have them run with the tag titles but nobody other than me wants to see Max hold two titles and have two stories going.

I mean, I wouldn’t mind that either. Just needs to be the right stories and stuff that aren’t going to make people go “Really?”

Like, if it were me, I’d have them win the tag titles and feud with Bullet Club Gold because you can do a lot with it, especially with the two PPVs week to week.

I have no idea where they are heading with this but I suspect if they do win the titles (and they should because they are over like gods) it’s not going to be a super lengthy reign.

If it were me, have them win, lose to Bullet Club Gold in Wembley, tease further dissent during All Out with whoever the title match is, then build and build towards MJF/Cole II at Full Gear.

EDIT: And to solve the belt problem, have Kingston win it at Arthur Ashe partially due to Cole's inadvertedly screwing him over.

That theme was fire. Yeah we're expecting MJF to turn on Cole but I'd like for them to do something different and instead as soon as MJF is about to attack him for a turn Cole counters it and boom, there we go. They can then get into the blood feud stuff but honestly Cole's thing is that he needs to be smarter than MJF here. MJF is the heel but it's really dope to see a really smart face being able to counter the dastardly heel. That's one of the reasons Ambrose's face run in WWE was so great. Dude was always smarter than the heels which is something that rarely happens for faces.

MJF having the title though is just really making things seem a bit confusing. I have no idea what they'll do with it.

If MJF and Cole manage to win the tag titles I expect it to be a very short one(shorter than the Gunns reign) and drop it back to FTR so they become the first ever 3 time tag champs.

Isn't the Royal Rampage match for a TNT title shot, not a world title shot?

They weren’t clearly setting that up at all. There were no on-screen hints of tension. I’m sure they would’ve broken up eventually but they were together for over a year.
