0.29 would be a solid bounceback in the demo from last week’s record low 0.24.
Year over year still a fairly significant drop from 0.36 and 979K.

Folks, are we really reduced to this? Are we going to have a thread - multiple threads going forward - based on Tony Khan's weekly "thanks!" tweets and f***ing "Big Nasty" from the bleacher report?
There was a chance to let this end. It didn't have to continue.

While the rating of course is not as big as other Dynamites of the psst, number one in the rating is in no way bad.

Hand up - I was wrong. I expected this show to do much worse.
I'm interested to see the quarter hour breakdown. Kenny in a main event singles match is usually a good draw.
I wonder if MJF as a face does well going forward if AEW will make the mistake AGAIN of having him revert to being a heel. I hope they realized the error they made last fall and don't. I feel like the obvious destination should be a CM Punk/MJF double turn at All In. But we'll see.

If Tony didnt mention Dynamite was number 1 on cable on Wednesday I wouldve waited first for Thurston to post the data because people already know how bias Konuwa is.

It shows the state of most cable these days that AEW was #1 for the night.

It shows the state of most cable these days that AEW was #1 for the night. And the bizarre semantics of how "the ratings" are calculated. I guarantee some talking head bloviating on FOX News tripled Dynamite's net viewership, but finished like "#16 on the night."

It also shows how it’s pointless to try and guess how WBD views things because we don’t know the metrics being used?

It shows the state of most cable these days that AEW was #1 for the night. Goes to show even if their year-to-year is down, it still means their ratings are still great relative to the state of cable at the time.

The important demo is 18-49 because that’s the demo that advertisers care most about and base their ad rates on. Reason being that the age group is more influenced to change their spending habits than those 50+.

Alfred Konuwa needs to be a banned source on here. He is a professional troll trying to masquerade as a "wrestling journalist".

Alfred Konuwa needs to be a banned source on here. He is a professional troll trying to masquerade as a "wrestling journalist". Has he ever posted false ratings though? He obviously is extremely biased and used to only release certain numbers if they were a bad look for AEW, but I thought the info was usually accurate.

I understand that's the traditional theory behind it, but I just find it incredibly arbitrary especially these days. If I were running a company in 2023, I think I'd generally prefer to reach 2 million 50–75-year-old people with expendable income to burn and time on their hands more than 450,000 18–49-year-old people largely buried underneath the albatross of student loan debt. I guess that's why I don't run a Fortune 500 company lol.
