Cage and Bill formed a bond because they were paired in the Blind Eliminator, so yes it's a loose association, they must really like them together There's a chance Cage and Bill either defect or become the more AEW team while Toa and Kaun keep doing ROH

I dig cage and bill together, ROH homeboys can do ROH. Swerve, Nana, and Fox would be interesting by themselves on AEW tv.

Reminder they have EJ Nduka signed too... so depending on what happens, Swerve, Fox, and EJ with Nana would be awesome

I still think Swerve would have been the perfect person to dethrone OC

I think when it comes to AEW and Swerve, they know they have a potential top star in him on their hands...they just haven't really been able to decide on how to go about getting him there.
They've been throwing stuff at the wall since the end of last year to see what'll stick (The tattoo boys, the Embassy, on/off feud with Lee, putting Swerve in matches but not necessarily any actual feuds etc.) but they seem to be finally hitting on something now with the West Coast stuff (Darby. Fox, Wayne) so let's hope it takes off from here; I think they are a couple steps away from figuring it all out to be honest.
If nothing else they've shown commitment to pushing him by trying so many different things with him. Fingers crossed they put it all together, cause since he walked into the company early last year I've been saying that this is a dude you build the company around, and he's done nothing since then to convince me otherwise.

I’ve got a secret bet with myself, wondering who makes it to the top of AEW first: Swerve or Jay White.

Swerve is starting to get some momentum at less with getting wins over Darby and Wayne. They need to push him harder as he should be a bigger star right now. More so on how they started with him.
