It feels like Collision to me. It's own thing. I enjoy it a lot personally. Dynamite to me is the gold standard of professional wrestling weekly TV shows right now in terms of delivering high quality wrestling and stories week in and week out but Collision is still a very good show.

I don’t think it’s anything like mid 2010s RAW cuz I actually enjoy the show.

I’m more of a Dynamite guy myself. Can we get more than FTR and Punk as the main focus?

Mid 2010s Raw Authority Raw was awful.
I feel like the show still needs a title beyond the 'I'm CM PUNK' championship, a goal for guys to actually have.

I watched it on a whim this week and my flimsy first time viewer opinion is that it felt like an AI booked Universe Mode show. It even ended on a super boring tag match going nearly half an hour. Long ass tag matches involving FTR have been a staple of all the episodes so far (Although the matches against Bullet CLub GOld WERE legit great at least)

It'd be kinda fun to match the late 2000s/early 2010s to new equivalents.
John Cena: CM Punk Randy Orton: Triple H: Shawn Michaels: Undertaker: Batista: Chris Jericho: Edge: Big Show: Sheamus: CM Punk:

Show was pretty boring but that slow zoom of Scorpio Sky sitting in the balcony was some of the funniest shit imaginable and made it completely worthwhile.
Other than that all I really remember is that dude in the front row creepily filming Skye Blue’s ass and Papi Ass’s feet getting hot and leaving his boots in the ring.

Dude was in the front row and had his phone pointed straight at her ass the entire time. Even when Taya got in the ring and Skye was standing there off to the side with her back to him he had that thing trained directly on her from behind while she wasn’t doing anything, dude was wild for that.

I've honestly seen no comparison to Raw, but especially not late 2000s Raw?
There's too much wrestling, for one.

Collisions got an odd direction and execution so far but i've been enjoying it and the comparison feels like three Punk shitposts in a trenchcoat trying to convince you it's right

I'll take it over whatever Dynamite has been for the last year. A good wrestling program? I also like what Collision is btw

I hope TK actually runs with these comparisons and has Theodore Long come out randomly one night and just announce a tag team match before leaving

Considering Punk tried the good ol' Cena mindf*** on Starks this week, this is a very apt comparison.

That theme got a lot of hate around these parts while it was being used but damn if it hasn’t become one of the definitive Raw themes in my book. On topic, I don’t watch Collision so I can’t comment

It’s oddly structured so far. Seems like the same acts are featured over and over and maybe they could use some more top talent to mix in. So in that sense and in the slowed down, spread out nature of the show it’s the opposite of Dynamite. The episodes of Collision have felt very similar to each other so far in my opinion, so in that sense it’s a bit like that mid 2010’s WWE.
There’s also the typical WWE trope of a promo opening the show and leading to the making of the main event match, whereas Dynamite opens with a match 90% of the time.

I also like what Collision is btw I'm glad you like it and I would never tell someone what to like or dislike but Dynamite has been trash to me outside BCC vs the Elite. I like a more serious product and I'm just not getting that on Wednesdays.

Idk I think Dynamite can be pretty serious, MJF/Cole is lighthearted but it's leading to a potential heartbreak, among other things Collision's good though, I really like Ian commentating over Kevin Kelly in particular right now.
