“The word we are hearing from WWE sources is that former AEW TBS Champion Jade Cargill is currently expected to land on the Raw brand. Cargill was at the WWE Performance Center last week and is back this week again. She was not at the WWE NXT No Mercy PPV over the weekend. We are told that once WWE is done promoting and hyping her signing, she’ll soon be coming to TV. Some sources believe she’ll be on TV by the end of the month, if not sooner.”

I think that’s sort of a weird decision because you can use her to build up NXT as a brand and she could develop a bit more in the WWE structure but I also see the logic in that she’s been on TV enough and in a prominent position on TV enough where anything less than the main roster would be seen as a downgrade.

It’d have been like if WWE debuted Steve Austin on Superstars when he first came in. People know who she is, it’d serve you better to have her in a prominent spot with talent she can learn from on the road than the development brand that, besides Becky, has been sometimes considered an island of misfit toys.

I'd imagine with the money they're investing in her it's probably best for everybody if she just tries to learn on the job. I wouldn't be shocked if she was spending more time than others at the PC in the meantime, but yeah.

Especially if it’s beyond the price range to put TK off. If you’re going through all of that, it’d be weird to go “Yeah, sure, we’ll put you against our rookies on NXT planning matches for a week”. Especially in a post TKO world.

I say run with the momentum while it’s there. You can put her against talent like Natty on the house show circuit to get some good reps in.

It's show business not show art. At this level strike while the iron is hot. If she wanted to be a wrestling artist and not make money she would have done more indies. Why should the WWE try to bring her along slowly hell she has enough experience that she xan get by

Rushing her to the main roster IMO is a very bad mistake.

Because with all the hype...the people that have no clue are probably expecting a wrestling prodigy and this is considering the likes of Tiffany Stratton , Lyra , Roxxane are still down in NXT.

And when that realization that this woman while jacked is absoloute f***ing dirt in the ring it is gonna expose her so badly and one would tbink WWE would wanna be a little more protective of their new shiny golden toy.

But this might just be a case of telling us exactly how she is gonna be booked without actually saying it......she is gonna run through every woman in like a min flat to build her up while she no sells all their offence untill she hits the upper tier women and then she will actually have to start having actual matches.

Jade can look great with the right dance partners, like Kris Statlander. Her last match in AEW with Kris was the best one she's ever had in her career IMO. But she's had a lot of really sloppy matches, too.

She also has a real desire to learn and improve her craft. And all that said, she's someone who doesn't really need to be putting on four star matches every week either.

I really have yet to actually see Jade approach the level of watchable in the ring, but I'm guessing WWE will do a better job of covering for it and giving her room to grow than AEW did.

If they're worried about her needing more training in the ring or whatever her skill level might be, they can hide it on TV and have her mostly cut promos and have short matches with decisive victories.

Then offscreen, she can do all the training at the PC and work non-televised matches.

After the buzz she’s had the past few weeks it only makes sense to have her debut on the main roster, and sooner rather than later. Maybe a few years back NXT would have made sense as a first stop, but it’s a very different brand now and wouldn’t instantly dull the shine she has.

She’s not the finished product but she’s TV ready; she can put on decent enough matches and knows her camera angles. I don’t know how AEW does things but I think the WWE way of doing matches will really benefit her and the quality of her wrestling. She needs more work which can come from the performance centre or live event loops.

I wonder if she comes in as a heel or face? She was only a heel in AEW, but I feel like she was already approaching "cool heel" with respect to the crowd and I think would've came back as a face in AEW.
