Deadlock's reviews of '98 Raws where Vince kept saying "the Undertaker and Kane are in CAHOOTS!" has ruined that word for me. Like, there's an app called Kahoot that works for classroom review activities, and even with that I'm just all "Quite frankly, Stone Cold Steve Austin should realize those two MONSTERS are in CAHOOTS!" for me it's Michael Cole's "KING!!!! IS THIS SYMBOLIC!?!" |

If Mone is coming to AEW….if she is actually not going back to WWE but going to AEW the Devil would be a beautiful spot to put her as Money (Mone) is the root of all evil.

If Mone is coming to AEW….if she is actually not going back to WWE but going to AEW the Devil would be a beautiful spot to put her as Money (Mone) is the root of all evil. I'm watching this past summer's All In tonight, and seeing Mone there and knowing the devil element started right after this - this could absolutely be it and it would be amazing. |

There’s no way it’s that Hammerstone guy right? At this point I think he's the male frontrunner based on build. Mercedes being the devil is the female frontrunner. Maybe even both, given that we've physically seen two different devils with very different builds... Cole...doesn't match the guy we saw. There may still be an explanation though. |

As much as I hate the whole angle, out of all the even somewhat possible scenarios, this would be the most interesting. The reveal falls apart when most of the audience goes “who?”. We have fans on this board who don’t like the NJPW crossover stuff because they aren’t familiar with New Japan, that issue would be exponentially worse with the dude who just left MLW |

Might as well do it before the main event in 30sec segment like, "oh yeah, here's the devil" and then have whoever it is unmask himself and then just go on with the program and be done with it.

There’s no way it’s that Hammerstone guy right? I sincerely doubt it for two reasons: 1. His entire history with MJF is from MLW, and neither he nor their history has ever been mentioned on AEW TV. Having him (or Richard Holliday) be revealed as the Devil with no mention or build up would just be lackluster storytelling. 2. He's Tweeting about it too much. Like, if he were actually the Devil, there's no way TK or anyone else in management would let him draw this much attention to himself before the reveal. He's likely just shitposting. |

Surely if the Devil is revealed tonight. Which TK pretty much confirmed. How do you do that reveal, make it mean something and not have MJF lose. Like surely MJF has to lose for the Devil reveal not be DOA.
Like say its Cole. MJF wins match, Devil comes out, face to face and reveals himself as Cole. You got the OMG moment but then what was the purpose of all these beatdown and mindgames he's been doing. Cole could have literally just sat at home doing nothing. Turn up tonight and smash MJF after his win with his crutch and you reached the exact same point

I, hand on my heart, had a dream it was swerve. He doesn’t win the immediate title match, but MJF loses/gets injured, and he wins the next one.
Honestly would dig it if it was still him.

Yeah for the Devil to be revealed tonight, MJF has to lose otherwise what's the point? He'd be revealing himself as having failed at getting the title from him.
I still don't see it being Adam Cole simply because he's not in a position to wrestle and I don't want to see this strung out any longer. Swerve or Jack Perry might be the most logical options.
