The biggest thing is no more of that eyesore graphic on the screens anymore. Seriously, what was Khan thinking?!? It remains the most baffling decision in years due to there being no upside. Hopefully it really is gone for good. I do wonder if it will poison the well with other sponsors, as in they can see it didn't help woo juice so they won't pay much for a similar deal. Especially if the contract has ended early. |

According to a report by Dave Meltzer in the latest Wrestling Observer Newsletter, the partnership between Ric Flair and AEW may have ended prematurely. “Those who have pointed out no “Wooooo! Energy” graphics on the screen of late, that is a smart observation and unless something changes it doesn’t look like you’ll be seeing that going forward. There was no explanation given but unless something changes it does look like that deal is over with.”  We did get Andrade wanting to die after drinking a can of the Flair Fungus Juice, so there is that. |

Especially if the contract has ended early. probably not, flair's zombie mushroom juice energy drink was a cash grab attempt in an already full market that I'm not sure was actually marketed anywhere outside of flair's twitter & AEW. any other sponsors will probably have a better marketing department than a crazy 75 year old who is prone to cause issues for both companies involved. what are the odds on flair owing money to the company that produced the zombie mushroom energy drink? |

That honestly hurt my enjoyment of the shows a little. I did laugh every time the Woooo Energy bottles got knocked over, though. The peak was Andrade drinking a can and looking disgusted. One more drink for the road before we never have to think of it again.  Kinda amusing that 8ish months later Andrade, Kevin Kelly and the fungus juice are all gone. |
