What's he going to do anyway? Manage? Commentate? Agent? What does he really offer? And don't say name value because he brought nothing to TNA outside of a lot of bar tabs. Just curious to see what will happen and where he goes from here.
Maybe do the same thing Arn and Jake Roberts have been doing lately backstage.

I think Arn is no longer under contract. when I went to AEW Dynamite in Vegas in May, I saw Arn in the casino like right after the show ended, and it seemed like he had been there for awhile. Something tells me he was showing up and not being used for anything.

Speaking of TNA, remember the Last Rites match between Sting and Abyss? Maybe Tony can book that stip for the final meeting between The Stinger and Flair.

I mean, hats off to Naitch for convincing AEW management to sign him for whatever purposes *and* get the "energy" drink deal...thingy. One more bag for the road.
I don't like anything about this personally, and that Variety quote almost sounds like a threat.
...man is gonna do his twirl, woo, and turn to dust in the center of the ring, ain't he?

I will say one thing, this has caused me to look at Jarrett in a slightly better light. He's 56 rather than in his 70s. Yeah I don't like Jarrett, yeah I won't watch his matches but if he's saying a line or two like he said to MJF last night? I can overlook it.
I don't even wanna hear a commentator mention Flair. Dude looks like some biscuits after you pop the can open.

I would rather drink a pint of my own piss than either Prime or Woo Energy. I tried a Prime blue because it was marked down at my local supermarket and it was absolutely disgusting.

I hope Tony realizes he's been bamboozled. He didn't sign the real Ric Flair. He signed the Ric Flair impersonator!

I'm actually shocked they signed Flair before Goldberg, like all things considered Goldberg could at least DO SOMETHING still

So 2 years deal, if he was supposed to appear on tv, then let him do occasional appearances until Revolution 2024 then keep him off tv until his deal is up.

That is going to be one interesting flight in August to London and back.
Seriously, I get signing him for some appearances leading to Sting's retirement given the history, but that's it. Two years seems excessive and a money mark being a money mark. He's got no value now aside from a nostalgia pop (i.e. introductions if they run Charlotte by God, North Carolina) and the law of diminishing returns applies there.

But the main deal is with his drinking company which clearly explains why AEW isnt covering his salary, the deal is less than what the likes of PVZ got lol

You just know Tony is going to have him appear at All In, I can imagine him wanting Ric to have that Wembley pop.
