You just know Tony is going to have him appear at All In, I can imagine him wanting Ric to have that Wembley pop. Will he arrive in the Woo Energy helicopter?

The NWA had 212 PPV buys for the first PPV post Tyrus era.

One step closer to my prediction of Sting's last match being against The Black Scorpion.

I have one question... no not about Ric Flair but seeing the size of the thread I feel it's back and forth so you know what that means?

The mildest defense was how bad could it be or we wont use him at all...this is a thread of unison i think we are all just kind of watching things transpire so i am not sure a side course is needed. This is certainly no means towards the end of AEW or anything of a catalyst but it is a pretty interesting chapter in this young company that feels like it has already had multiple eras.

At least it's only "multi-year" because 2 is technically more years than 1. Two years is bad enough, but it could've been full on nightmare shit if it was like 5 years lol.

Can we have one alternative wrestling company not f*** up?? No, we can't, especially when the number one is built on f***ups This is just what wrestling is, and we sadly have to accept that most people who ever take over or start a wrestling company, are first and foremost well... marks. Tony Khan is a fan, which means great things of understanding how to book and present a product, but it also means his child self who watched Ric Flair and saw him as an idol is going to blatantly ignore the issues that have risen from Ric Flair in those 30 years since he's probably daydreamed about booking him on a wrestling show. Much like how he tried with CM Punk until he couldn't anymore. Every company is going to have their glaring weaknesses, the one positive is AEW f***s up WAY less than we've seen WCW and TNA do at their worst, but, it has its weaknesses, Tony Khan has his weaknesses, and this is probably the most blatant of them.

Man, this is dumb as f***. Bringing in the Strutting Skeleton for Stings big farewell was f***y to begin with but a multi-year deal? Exclusive agreement for his energy drink? f***ing dumb. Flairs achievements and his role in the history of wrestling were huge, key word were. It's time to leave all the racists and sex pests in the past man.

I know this is 100% the time to goof on this and he's right but SRS's posts about this being just like FAN shitposts is so funny to me, he's retweeting his own jokes from a few hours ago like me quoting my own post that didn't get enough likes in one thread so I posted them somewhere else lmao.
SRS should be on FAN, he'd kill it here.

Does anyone expect Flair to screw up like Punk? Because if he does something stupid then both TK and Chad Bronstein would cut ties with him.
TKs weaknesses as Eddie pointed out is that he is too kind of a person, specially toward the elderly(See Jim Ross and everytime he says something controversial on air)

No I don't expect Flair to screw up like Punk Mainly because if Flair tried to get involved in a backstage brawl he'd literally break like a store mannequin.

It's times like these I have to ask myself...
What Would Freddie Prinze Do?
(Kidding this would have likely been one of his first signings)

Can we have one alternative wrestling company not f*** up?? I wonder if maybe TK doesn't want to be an "alternative company" so much as he just wants to be "another company"? And maybe doesn't understand how that might turn off certain fans, especially younger ones?
