*Heads over to YouTube to dislike those videos... Edit: There are a lot of people complaining in the comments, too. And it comes as no surprise. IYO was the MVP of that tourney and quite frankly deserved to win it IMO and now Dmg Cntrl basically finds themself right back in the position they were with Bianca just single handedly getting beat by 1 woman , the only thing she has yet to do is beat them 1 on 3 which if history dictates isn't far off. And it is this continued pattern...IYO gets over with the audience and you would think a babyface turn would be in the cards as she gets more over but nope the rug gets pulled out and she remains a heel , it happened with Bayley and now here is IYO finding herself getting herself over again only to seemingly atleast in the moment be doubling down as a heel if that backstage tempertantrum was anything to go by and Dmg Cntrl remain the beatsticks of the division and is why a contingent are pissed as they are. Lyra doesn't even have the marketability, overness with the crowd, and look and aura to justify it like with Bianca. Like I get it with Bianca, Lyra on the otherhand..... |

If I were a joshi wrestler I'd use Lady Lady's opening song as a theme - this cartoon along w/ Kyoufu Densetsu Kaiki! Frankenstein (lots of folks dying brutally, if my parents knew the kind of cartoons they bought us! 🤣) were my first introduction to Japan in my early days....  |

Doesn't help that people who don't understand why this is so frustrating are so quick to paint anyone complaining with the "oh well Damage CTRL fans are weebs who don't spend money on the product at all"(ignore the fact that the Kabuki Warriors merch sells well, and Damage CTRL members in general rarely get new merch) brush, nevermind the fact that those people who throw the "weeb" remark out are generally the first to scream bloody murder whenever Naomi, Bianca, or Jade face some sort of adversity, or Liv Morgan didn't immediately win the title in that battle royal. |

Already memorized Kouki Amarei and Saki Kashima in my brain. ✌️

But, then they had her go over IYO, who like you said was putting on bangers every single week in the tournament and then this past week had her go over Kairi Sane as well, despite her being hampered with busted ribs in kayfabe. At least with Dakota, she had a good showing the following week against then-Women's champion, Becky Lynch, was booked fairly strong and was protected with a non-finish with the match ending in a no contest. IYO had a strong showing throughout the QotR tournament and was able to get the fans into each and every one of her matches. But, in Kairi Sane's first singles match in 6 months, they had her lose in 3 minutes. She didn't even get a lengthy match like her fellow Damage Ctrl stablemates had. it's really no wonder there's been fan backslash. And I don't think it's gonna get any better since it seems like they're setting her up to challenge Liv Morgan for the Women's title next.....and we all know how rabid the Liv Morgan fanbase can be...... |

I can see her costing Lyra the match at Clash that way it gives Lyra a protected loss and Liv keeps her title and you maybe roll that into MITB but that is only a week out from the MariGold July ppv so idk if she would even be on that show depending of course if she works that MariGold show which right now the talk is she is very much going to work that show. |
