f*** it, put extra focus on Bayley/Iyo and put them in the main event of Night 1 then. I'd rather they go with something appealing that has a story with planning than something thrown together that wasn't the ideal match you wanted to do. Hopefully Punk gets to use this setback to fuel whatever comes next.

As a total novice in the area, I wonder how his MMA career may have anything to do with how rough of a shape his body seems to be in. I know he only had like 2/3 matches but the different training and actually getting the shit kicked out of him for those few matches at his advanced age, for that sport, couldn't have been great for him. Nah its his pro wrestling career that has more to do with it. He's also 40 and he was already injury prone in AEW. Couple that with bigger guys to work with and it was an uphill battle unforunately. |

Plus, if they take the belt off of Seth and give it to Drew, then we could get Drew vs Jey or Drew vs Sami which would have backstory going back several months before now. If they put the belt on Priest and had him defend against Balor, that would be a storyline with over a year of backstory. There are options to still have a logical men's title match without Punk or Seth with a solid foundation and 3 more months to build it. |

I wonder if this is the case, if it just popped right off the bone on the Future Shock, or if it only partially came off there and then Punk trying to lift Drew for Drew’s elimination caused it finish the job as it were. |
