One was a stage dive into a crowd, which was stupid, but also not in some backstage altercation

They're completely separate from his injury luck, which is just really unfortunate shit that he's been forced to deal with.

Which, given my track record of calling these things, means in a week's time Punk will have got in trouble for creeping on an NXT girl, start a fight in catering, and be released.

I doubt that WWE are working this, after the rumble there were rumors that Punk was legit injured, and we have heard nothing about this being a work, which tells me we aren't going to be seeing Punk for quite a while and he isn't getting his 'mania "Main Event" this year.

it's the same scenario when Cody tore his pec and they did the angle on Raw the next night with Rollins injuring him to write Cody off TV for a while.

I'm not shocked he did a little on RAW before the write off. When it's off the bone you can't really hurt it any worse.

That's basically the story he did when he returned after the first injury in aew to beat Moxley

And then get injure again in the same day.

It's a very similar injury to what Cody had, and Cody decided to work an entire match with it

Punk taking a strike and a worked stomp to the arm isn't anything further when it's just that damaged.

Yeah, not even in a "gets hurt trying to do a Buckshot Lariat and looking like a fool" kind of way, he just got hurt in the same way any number of wrestlers could or do get hurt, just landing a bit wrong in a way outside of their control and their body giving up.
