I was a massive Punk fan before Brawl Out. Summer of Punk (the ROH version) is still one of my favorite things to rewatch. I’m not a fan of his anymore but I hope this can at least allow him to leave the business in a proper way. As a big Young Bucks/Elite fan I’m hoping this will drive some of the hate away from them. Bucks have always been unfairly hated but after brawl out it felt the more aggressive “bad” fans took aim at then and their fans. The hate became way more personal which really sucked. If this can provide a positive change and finish for Pubk and get some of those fans to ease up I think it’s a win for everyone. it would be nice to see some of the hate get away from them but I can pretty confidently say that at any point that they’re on tv now and it isn’t doing great, those some people will be like “see they forced him away and now look how the company is doing”, completely ignoring everything |

Im sure it’s mostly about business, but just like with Jade Cargill, there definitely is an element of Triple H going “nanner nanner nanner!” at Tony Khan. Honestly, I doubt it. Again when he signed with AEW the apparent feeling was "he's their problem now." |

I think Trips still resents Punk and the feeling is mutual, but for Punk, its an opportunity to do the one thing he desparately craves - Headline a Wrestlemania, and by that I mean go on last on day 2. It probably won't happen in Philly, but year after that there is a legit possibility if he doesn't f*** up.
For Papa H, there is the prospect of money to be made and convincing dudes like Starks, Hobbs and Black to jump ship when their contracts with AEW are up.
Still think it’s Cody/Roman II at Night II. if they’re hotshotting Punk and Seth at the Runble, who tf would he face at Mania? f***ing Austin?? lol Yeah, it's Cody vs Roman at Mania. Cody ran down to help LA Knight fight off the Bloodline a couple of weeks ago. And the biggest thing, that staredown a month or so ago. |

Why on earth is this supposed to make us want to see this match? Seth became a main eventer a few months after Punk left, and with him cashing in on Roman vs Beastie Boy, has done something Punk hasn't. A feud built around Rollins not wanting Punk to reclaim his place at the top of the card and Punk envious that Rollins walked out of the Main Event of Wrestlemania 31 as champ would be much better than breaking the 4th wall. |
