First feud or legit? Storyline or did something go down? Getting in early on the worked shoot their Seth. x.com/BleacherReport/status/1728640256260616687?s=20While I think Phil is a complete waste of space it was a better return than Ortons unfortunately. The Copyright logo appearing just before the comeback worked really well. Orton just appearing 30 seconds after Ripley ran down didnt make much sense.. He could have been kept for Monday Night Raw. |

Definitely makes that last decade or so of him being the counterculture anti-WWE rebel pretty awkward and funny now, but if he can be a good boy in that locker room it could make for some interesting TV. I suppose we shall see!

A friend texted me about it this morning and I just...I can't bring myself to care anymore. Not that my personal opinion on him is going to make a shred of difference, but still.
I always liked him, I knew he had a reputation as a difficult character but there was something about him that I found identifiable. Even after Muffingate, I still had time for him and wanted to see this guy on TV. I honestly thought the whole Jack Perry thing was an elaborate work at first, but now that it emerges it wasn't and he really was far more stupid than I gave him credit for being, I'm note sure I can bring myself to really care one way or the other because my good will towards him has run out, and I can't help feeling like it's going to end in a stupid way again, so why get invested?

On one hand, Punk's reaction last night shows why WWE did this. It was a loud pop to start with that just kept ramping up.
On the other hand, we all know Punk's history. This will work... until it doesn't.

SRS (who is adamant it isnt a work) is just being a doofus by refusing to acknowledge it as one, because he got burned real bad this weekend over it. |
