Last year the teases during the Rumble matches to start or further stuff for Mania were Rey v Dom, Rollins v Paul, Becky v Damage CTRL, JD v Edge and Gunther v Sheamus. They also teased Brock/Gunther which hasn't happened yet.

This year I think Jey and Jimmy will definitely cross paths again during the Rumble to kick off their build. If Bayley is going face and leaving Damage CTRL then some kind of miscommunication/eliminations involving them during the match seems like a way you could start it. Maybe Judgment Day are in together and dominate for a few minutes until Lashley and the Street Profits emerge to stop them and that could be a stable/tag feud for Mania. They may as well just accept that people are going to keep cheering the Hurt Profits and book them as faces.

It is interesting because the 3 losers could potentially not be in the Rumble match, particularly if this match goes last.

see I'm the opposite. Roman singles matches just don't hit the same way anymore atleast against people we know don't have a shot at winning, Orton, AJ, Knight.

Now I don't except him to lose either way, but multi man matches are a good change up imo

I didn't see that 4 way coming at all. I was sure it would be Roman v Randy. Maybe they don't want Randy getting pinned so soon after returning.

I thought they might do IYO/Bianca for the title here but Bianca announced for the Rumble match last night so guess not.

Rhea I think may end up in the Rumble too. She can claim to be so dominant she's going to take the other title too then Becky presumably would eliminate her to start their feud.

Brock is likely returning here. I think either Gunther or Solo will be his Mania opponent so probably something with one of them during the match.

I wish WWE would recreate the Giant Gonzalez Debut from the 1993 Rumble.

It would be a nice change to have someone like a Bron Breaker just come down the aisle and just beat the crap out of someone to set up his WrestleMania Programme.

It would be better than just being a entrant and getting eliminated.

And that was also the year they were so short on women that exactly half the field were legends, free agents or even a reigning champion in Impact. And not in a 2018 “This is the first one so let’s bucket list this for a bunch of our legends” kind of way, either.

Bianca announcing she is entering the Rumble probably makes her the favorite. She's not going to be left off of Wrestlemania. She has made it clear she want to beat IYO. So I am thinking she wins the Rumble or the Chamber. The Rumble being more likely in my mind, only because I can not envision Becky throwing her out. I can certainly see her throwing Becky out, and scrappy Becky has to find another way to fight her way Wrestlemania. 3 members of Damage CTRL are certainly not strong enough to gang up on her and throw her out. Maybe if she gets misted first...maybe.

That puts Bayley and Becky in the Chamber to see who gets Rhea. Becky probably wins because Bayley can still be an important part of Mania without having a match. (I hope I'm wrong. I'd rather see Bayley vs Rhea and Becky vs IYO at Wrestlemania)

The tease of The Rock returning makes me think CM Punk moves into the favorite slot for the men's Rumble. Punk picks Seth which frees up Roman.

Roman is a lock to win his fatal 4-way match.

I wonder if they will actually attempt the Kofi Spot despite the last 2 years being fails.

If they do they should have someone throw him a fair distance. As he is up in the air he starts to flap his arms where just before his feet touch the floor he relaises he has the ability to fly. He flys around the arena then lands safely on both his feet in the middle of the ring.

If it happens at the Royal Rumble, Jinder Mahal vs. Seth Rollins for the World Heavyweight Championship is going to be the ultimate bathroom break match.

So many people will get up from their seats to use the restroom or get concessions that the match will remind everyone of the Performance Center era.

I hope failing to do the spots becomes his gimmick. Every year he trips or falls out the ring randomly.
