I think the Rumbles both have two main contenders with Becky/Bayley for the women and Cody/Punk for the men.
I maybe see a slight chance for Sami if they get the title off of the Rollins/Punk feud and onto the Drew/Sami one. In that scenario Punk probably goes heel on Jan 1, costs Seth the title just to be a dick thinking who cares I'm gonna win the Rumble and face Roman/Drew anyway but then obviously Seth ends up eliminating him from the Rumble. The main reason I think there's a very slim chance of that one though is if Punk/Seth was going to be a non-title grudge match I don't think they'd have them talking about being a Mania main event so much because I don't think it goes on last without the title.

He'll probably Wrestle before then but Punks last match before he left WWE was A Royal Rumble and if he didn't wrestle before then his First match back would also be a Roya Rumble.
Also 4 Years a go you'd have called someone delusional if they said the first 2 confirmed participants for the 2024 Rumble would be Punk and Rhodes.

Reigns vs Orton seems inevitable here. I would like to see a cool GUNTHER defense too but not against Miz again. Gable rematch?

I've seen some talk of Roman/Orton/Styles if AJ returns soon but I think Roman/Orton 1 on 1 would be the bigger match. No idea what Seth's world title match would be. He's already faced Jey and Sami on free TV recently and he has a Raw match set with Drew for Jan 1. That's why while I don't think it's very likely I'm not completely ruling out Punk costing Seth the title that night and Drew goes into Rumble/Mania as champ. |

Punk isn't even thinking of him but Seth shows his true character by taking way his title show to get his attention and obessesion with Punk. |

It's a two-man race for the Men's Royal Rumble Match. We all know it'll be either Cody Rhodes or CM Punk walking out of the Trop victorious.
On the women's side, Becky Lynch is the obvious favorite for Raw, but SmackDown could go a number of ways. If Iyo Sky continues to hold the Women's Championship, then Bayley is the proverbial favorite. But if the breakup of Damage CTRL goes to WrestleMania without the belt, there could be a number of potential (albeit extremely predictable) winners: Charlotte Flair, Bianca Belair, or perhaps even a debuting Jade Cargill.
Meanwhile, when it comes to the men's title matches on the main card, I think it's obvious that we're trending toward Randy Orton versus Roman Reigns for the Undisputed Championship, and I think we're probably likely to get a triple threat match between Drew McIntyre, Jey Uso, and Seth Rollins for the World Heavyweight Championship.

I'm usually really excited for the Royal Rumble. It's my favorite event of the year. I feel like they showed their hand too much. They spelled out that the men's is going to Cody or CM.
The women's title picture is so uninteresting right now. You got Rhea who they care about protecting to the point where her run has been terrible and boring. Then you have IYO, who they don't give a crap about as champion. She's feels like the 4th girl in a stable of losers that do nothing but lose. Both those titles feel so very unimportant, and the potential challengers are all women that have been multi-time champions.
Of course things can change between now and late January. (That's why I keep watching the show I guess, lol!)
Hopefully we'll get some neat surprise entrants for the Rumbles. That's my favorite, especially if the winners will be predictable.

This will be my first Rumble I see in person, so honestly the card could be shitty as hell and I’d still love every second of it. Hell the only Mania I’ve ever been to was 27 and I had an amazing time. I went to the 2008 Royal Rumble live and it was a really fun experience watching it live.. Even if Finlay getting disqualified f***ed up my notes as I was trying to note all the entries and eliminations as they happened. But yes you should have fun. |

My Royal Rumble predictions
Randy Orton vs. Roman Reigns - Roman retains
Seth Rollins vs. Drew McIntyre - Seth retains
Men's Rumble match - Punk wins the rumble. Then Cody wins the Elimination Chamber. The Bloodline can put more obstacles in Cody's path by placing Solo and Jimmy in the Chamber match. LA Knight enters the rumble #1 and lasts a long time. Even though Knight isn't winning it, he's still over, and by at least giving him some iron man cred from the match will help keep him strong.
Iyo vs. Bianca - Bianca wins and this match helps establish a further divide between Iyo and Bayley.
Women's Rumble match - If Jade is in it, then she's winning. If not, then Becky is winning it. I wouldn't rule out Bayley winning, if Iyo retains her title.
The Go Home Smackdown will be Logan Paul vs. whoever wins this tournament. I like how WWE is promoting this US title challenger tournament as a way to camouflage the fact that they don't have Logan on tv each week. If the plan is for Logan to drop the title to Knight at WrestleMania, then Logan still needs some title defenses before putting over Knight. Plus having a competitive match to close the Go Home Smackdown is a much better way to retain viewers than just closing the show with a Roman/Orton promo, contract signing, face-off, etc. Plus like last year, I think there will only be room for 5 matches total on the Royal Rumble card.

Thanks to Santa Claus, I will be attending this year’s Royal Rumble. It’s the first time I’ve ever attended the Rumble, and it’s something I’m excited to cross off my wrestling fan bucket list.
