Max seemed super emotional during his entrance and prior to introducing Adam. Emotional to being a face in his hometown? Emotional due to his title reign ending? Emotional due to leaving AEW soon? All three? Me reading too much into stuff? He witnessed the Pistons finally win. He's not a fan, he just wanted to see 30 straight. |

Adam Cole being the devil still feels pretty awful, especially with Joe betraying him. You can't chain betrayals and have everyone who's ever been nice to your face turn out to be evil and using him, that undermines the whole point of MJF's character arc. it would kinda suck for me at least cause i want them to stay friends but there's just like... not many options that make logical sense. like how are they gonna explain all the coincidences that lead to Cole? |

I hope it’s Adam Cole because he can play the heel so well. He’s is apparently just a gem of a human being, one of the nicest cats you’ll ever meet. But he is soooooo much better as a greasy ass heel |

It's pretty amazing that Joe has been doing the exact same thing in the exact same ring gear for 20+ years and he's still over. No major changes to his move set or his character and it still works. This and also that he's the exact same whether he's a heel or a face. He's really the only guy that doesn't need to change his character. He's just Joe and sometimes he beats up faces and sometimes he beats up heels. |
