A salute to Christian's 370 Day Run as TNT Champion. Truly, a hero for the children. Christian is all of our fathers.

Hell of a match and Christian deserves all the credit in the world for salvaging the TNT Title. That title was in dire need of repair

Incredibly fun and violent match. I like how it went black for a few seconds when switching over to Rampage. It made it look like what was about to happen was going to be too intense to air Reminded me of a cliffhanger in 90s cartoon shows or Power Rangers, so I also liked that moment. Daddy Magic and Daniel Garcia showing up to even the odds was nice, and them handcuffing Killswitch and Nick Wayne. Copeland hitting Christian in the groin with Spike was brutal, but fitting karma.

Hitting a man in the balls with a spiked bat is unsportsmanlike and the result should be voided

So Christian is winning the title back on father's day?

So we have a feud between Matt Menard and Christian Cage. In order for there to be balance, there will be a program in WWE between Rey Mysterio and Rikishi later this year.

I love the idea of Adam Copeland being the top star of Collision!

When they all got handcuffed, I thought he was gonna threaten Killswitch but Christian would refuse to quit but when Nick got threatened he’d quit then

so why are Alvarez and Meltzer saying this was a WWE match? I assume because of the interferences and use of handcuffs which WWE loves using but I havent heard then talking about it, so just a guess. Either way its a silly claim

Really fun match. Christian had a great run as champion.
I like Cope but I'm more interested in who he drops the belt to than his actual reign.

They're in their 50's so took a few shortcuts but after being nearly put to sleep by the Edge/Finn Balor I Quit match a while back I though this one was refreshingly un-WWE actually. A guy quit because he was being threatened with something that would kill him, not to save a loved one or anything, there was very little in the way of melodrama and no OTT Michael Cole style commentary, no crying, no hand staring after doing some unimaginably violent spot, nothing like that. I honestly can't believe the Edge/Balor match was only a few minutes longer than the one on Dynamite, I thought the latter flew by and was gutted when I saw the time and realised it was about to end, while the former I would have sworn went for nearly an hour and was shocked to see it was actually under 30 minutes. I thought the Balor match took itself utterly seriously despite lower stakes, while the Christian match felt much lighter despite also feeling like a war, it felt like two guys had freedom to go out and just have fun with it which isn't something I'd associate with WWE's heavily produced feeling matches.

The match also had the hometown hero conquer the (also hometown) villain in a crowd pleasing good guys triumph over evil ending, which is all very un-WWE to me

Great match with justfied proper bollocks at the finish line.
Also I love that Copeland has his Metalingus theme and Christian his TNA theme. They main evented in their home town doing what they wanted to do while coming out to the theme songs of their best, most iconic runs.

so why are Alvarez and Meltzer saying this was a WWE match? I'm not really sure. I get why they thought Mercedes did a WWE esque promo - it was like most of the work she's done. But like - matches with big spots, some interference, a big dramatic finale. Those aren't WWE trademarks. That's just wrestling. Plus there was blood, barbwire, a literal spiked post. The violence was very much AEW.

The good guys beating the bad guys by out doing them when there are no rules is always fun to me. It's a "Yeah, they have to cheat, but the moment I'm allowed to, I own them at that, too" good guy standard where they (technically) should always be better than the bad guy on fair ground. That's why I love Christian's egotistical aura because the moment its' one-on-one, the good guy will win (They did this really well at the PPV where the crowd 100% bought that Garcia was the better man and was going to win until Christian's group swooped in so he could cheat to win.)
Really enjoyed what I got to see of the match.

I’d like to ask Bryan Alvarez the last time a I Quit match in WWE ended up with someone quitting because their opponent was about to literally murder them without being able to defend themselves?
Like, that’s one of the two ideal ways for an I Quit match to end!

Like, that’s one of the two ideal ways for an I Quit match to end! Cena almost bludgeoned JBL with a giant truck exhaust pipe until he politely grabbed the ref and told him he quit. That might be it lol And even then that was a different, bloodier era of WWE still
