Well, he’s hasn’t gone flat earth-yet. From November through December I was sick as a dog, he’s been suggesting all kinds of “natural” remedies. And now he’s started going on about not believing Pangea, the super continent, ever existed. I’m putting my money on the lizard people next.

Come on now, everyone knows the lizard people did 9/11 to make us get the COVID vaccine. Wake up, sheeple!

I miss the days of being able to talk about Bigfoot, the Loch Ness Monster, and UFOs with people that were simply "trying to have a little wackiness/mystery in their life" rather than frothing at the mouth batshit crazy.

I’m kind of jealous you’re going through a real life conspiracy theory speedrun with someone. I wonder how long it will be before you hear ‘The Cabal’

Me too. Conspiracy theories used to be something you could have fun with, now they're angry political statements.

Reminds me of someone I use to know who always said that milk really has no nutritional value and that media was lying about it building calcium and strong bones because milk sales would help farmers.

Just that one?? You’re working with amateurs, pal.
I had TWO that believed every conspiracy and flat out lies. Name it. They believed it and loved telling you about them.

Weird I’ve been working for 30+ years since I was a young teen and Pangea never came up.

Can you ask him what purpose duping the public into believing the Earth is round would even serve?
Or why, in an era where purchasing and learning to fly an airplane isn't really that difficult, no one outside of the conspiracy has ever just flown to the edge of the Earth and proven themselves right?
Or how ancient sailors somehow managed to get around the planet using mathematical calculations that only work if the Earth is spheric- you know what, I'm just gonna stop myself there.

None of that is important! It's all part of their master plan, man! They put fluoride in the tap water to keep us wondering about it too much!

It genuinely scares the shit out of me when I encounter these people. I have a customer-facing job and once had a guy strike up a conversation with me; it was actually quite enjoyable, until he started recommending I read The Creature from Jekyll Island by renowned far right crackpot G. Edward Griffin.

Without going too far into it, I wonder how much mainstream networks being willing to show nonsense like Ancient Aliens and treat it as something that deserved serious consideration has to do with our present situation.
