I wonder if Dave Meltzer will inflate his RR ratings because it will be held in the American Tokyo Dome?

Do baseball players lose the ball in the ceiling at the Tokyo Dome?

The bastardized American adaptation of the Tokyo Dome anyway. If the Tokyo Dome was Gojira (1954), Trop is Godzilla (1998)

I mean, they are both domes, but the Tokyo Dome is a generally revered stadium in baseball and wrestling, while The Trop may be the worst stadium to ever exist in sports.

Do baseball players lose the ball in the ceiling at the Tokyo Dome? IIRC, Shohei Ohtani did at least once.

The old St. Louis Checkerdome right before it got demolished was more Tokyo Dome-like and modern looking than Tropicana.

I mean, they are both domes, but the Tokyo Dome is a generally revered stadium in baseball and wrestling, while The Trop may be the worst stadium to ever exist in sports. It's not just that The Trop is a truly awful venue for Baseball that makes it such a bad venue, though that on it's own would put it in contention for worst stadium in sports. It's also why and how it was built, and what it was built with. The building of the Stadium displaced an entire neighbourhood, and was built with public money. Saint Petersburg didn't even have a Baseball team lined up to play when they started to construct that monstrosity, it was built on speculation that a team would move there. Thankfully, no team did, though when the San Francisco Giants move to the trop was blocked a Franchise was awarded due to the threat of a lawsuit and St Pete got the Tampa Bay (Devil) Rays.

The only thing Tropicana Field reminds me of is depression. The Trop makes the Oakland Coliseum look like a bastion of hope.

They are similar to the extent that they’re both domed stadiums and that’s about it..
