Yeah, just going to repeat this: we're not here to police if someone wants to say a person in an industry filled with attractive people looks attractive. People are allowed to express that, and other posters can do what they did in this thread and direct the discussion towards a bigger topic, not really a need for mods to have to guide everyone on that.
What's bad is if we get an overtly perverted thread/some kind of an excuse to post a bunch of sketchy pics/whatever. It also sucks if there's talk about a wrestler or wrestlers and all the talk is just "look how hot they are!" and nothing else. I get this feels like a pronounced issue for women in wrestling given this is a board primarily populated with straight men, and if someone's posting nonstop or exclusively about the looks of a particular wrestler or wrestlers that's fine to take issue with or, preferably, report to the mods. But just taking comments that are about someone's appearance and treating it as automatically problematic (and that is the tenor of some of the reports and posts we've seen on the topic of late) isn't workable or reasonable.

Instead of speaking about wrestlers let's speak about mine ,I could use the positive reinforcemente. I am also thicker than a snicker.

Okay, it's never been wrong to talk about finding someone of legal age attractive, it was just don't be obscene or overly weird. There are people that find other people attractive and shaming people for that is just as wrong as the threads and posts that are overly perverted. On top of all that, this is also all talking about a part the show. Nobody is shaming anybody for finding anybody attractive. That's hyperbole and an oversimplification, as well as a dangerous dismissal, of a real problem, especially equating it to being "just as wrong" as being "overly perverted." It's people making threads with titles that deliberately objectify a person that posters in this thread are taking an issue with. Objectification is what makes it an issue, and makes members of this forum uncomfortable. That's what makes it wrong. That said, I don't think the OP intended this, but perhaps they should have put "thicker than a Snickers" in quotation marks and made it clearer that the thread is about Stokely's attempt to win Statlander's favor and directly quoting him rather than the emojis (unintentionally) implying this was going to be one of those "LOOK AT THIS WOMAN'S BODY" threads. And there are ways to go about talking about someone being attractive without it being unsettling and driving people away from the forum. Things like "Kris' new gear looks great" or "I really dig Ruby's new look" or "New Maria Photoshoot just dropped" - those aren't going to bother anyone or make people thing the forum is regressing to the 2011 days of polls where users thought the media caused more misandry than misogyny. Not trying to come at you, we all have blindspots, but it makes things better for everyone to hear out why people feel deeply about certain things rather than immediately chalking it up to "Shaming." Also, I made my comment, having missed Rampage and going solely based on the person who started the thread, no offense to them. It's just that they have a history of starting threads with titles similar to this one. I don't think that makes them a bad poster at all and I'm not singling them out, since they're definitely not the only one who makes threads like this. I rushed to judgment when I really should have read more than just the most recent comment before I posted. On the whole, this thread has not veered into the direction I thought it would have, so I do apologize for coming off as overly-righteous with my previous comment. I agree with you about there being a way to talk about women being attractive. Too many times in the live threads, and once again, I have been guilty of this in the past, people will make comments like "good lord, Anna!" or other comments in regards to the likes of Skye Blue, Kris, or Jamie Hayter, comments that leave little to the imagination when it comes to intent. I have witnessed entire conversations focusing on the wrestlers' bodies and attires, instead of the match taking place. I have no issue commenting on how attractive someone is, but I just think that, in general, it can be done without being creepy about it. I look back on a lot of posts I've made in the past and I cringe. I know I can do better and I think the entire forum can, too.

I’m Canadian and that’s where my mind went to too. Was quite confused for a second I’m also Canadian, and I understand what thick means in this context, tho normally it’s spelled ‘thicc’. Oh, I’ve totally seen the word thicc before and understand its meaning. But if I’m talking to someone, and they call someone “thick” where I can’t see the spelling I’m assuming they’re calling them “stunned” or “dense” or something in that range

There are times where things get taken too far, like when random pics and GIFs of someone's ass are posted in the live thread, so I get why posters get uncomfortable, but I honestly don't see the big deal with someone posting "Good lord ___" or whatever, especially if they post it and then move on immediately. I could be misunderstanding your post though because I'm a complete dumbass.

But I've seen threads where all the posts on a page are reacting to a woman's attire and all the bits we can see hanging out. And as I've said repeatedly, I'm no saint. I've made plenty of posts I'm embarrassed about, especially all the piss stuff. I think I just get a little squeamish when I see stuff like that, because it reminds me of my own old shames. In other words, you didn't misunderstand anything lol it's just me rambling on and being a big idiot.
