Sadly I am the same with MM, and I don't even want to, necessarily. She seems like a nice person and I otherwise like her. But...9 times out of 10, you know what you're going to get when you see she's in something, and it got old a WHILE back. As someone who was critical of her likely for the same reason, I have to say she's veered away from the "fatty fall down"/LOUD roles as of late. Check out Genie, for example. She's pretty fun in that one. She's also a legit good actress. She was excellent in "Can You Ever Forgive Me?". Even got nominated for an Oscar for Best Actress.

I don't get it. At all. It's kind of a small horse, I mean what am I missing? Am I crazy?

Joe Rogan. Joe Rogan. Joe Rogan.
Word on the street is that if Carlos Mencia says Joe Rogan's name into a mirror three times, Rogan shows up and screams at him.

Which I think is why so many people got annoyed with her. She's a legitimately good actress that relied way too much on the "fat woman falls over " gimmick.

I know it's for a good cause, but Ladbaby were reaching this point for me with their charity Christmas singles before they themselves wisely realised it.

Not yet but it'll happen to Taylor Swift in 2024-25 at some point. The media circus around her is going to make her insufferable regardless of what she does. Haven't seen anything like this since the UK media's love/hate obsession with Beckham in the late 90s which made everyone sick of him. It's far more the media's fault than the talent.
Everyone seems to have soured on Oprah and Tom Hanks. I expect it is because they've been doing the same thing for so long. Even if you are well into middle age you can remember watching them as a kid doing exactly the same type of stuff.
Ed Sheeran gets a wee bit too much stick as he is talented but musically he is very unambitious given the creative freedom he has and much like Coldplay gets 'Every song sounds the same' heat.

If the Chiefs win The Super Bowl, you can expect a two hour special about how she was the one solely responsible for their win.

I'm still waiting to see what happens if Taylor and Travis Kelce break up and some of the ultra-hardcore Swifties that had never watched football before are left with a bunch of NFL merch they'd have never bought otherwise.

Taylor Swift's music is fine, but the NFL boyfriend shit is tiresome, partly because everyone knows it will end in a breakup and an album of "NFL meathead predictably broke my heart" songs.

Ashton Kutcher, especially when he replaced Charlie Sheen on Two and a Half Men and his shitty Steve Jobs movie. Hollywood was pushing him big and I don't think the public took to him s they wanted. His defense of Danny Masterson just makes things worse. I think part of Kutcher's problem (you know, before the Danny Masterson stuff) was pop culture's eventual turn away from frat/jock/stoner/whatever character types as depicted in the mainstream. His attempts at more serious roles live in the shadow of his biggest success. A similar thing happened with Dane Cook, only I can't recall him ever trying a new schtick.

Dane also had issues like his brother stealing all his money. Dane Cook was in a serious movie with things like Mr. Brooks, and American Gods, he was also in Planes.
