With this being the 7th annual match coming up.
Of the previous 6, which one was your favorite?
Here are the list of winners over the years:
2018 - Asuka 2019 - Becky Lynch 2020 - Charlotte Flair 2021 - Bianca Belair 2022 - Ronda Rousey 2023 - Rhea Ripley

2023 started off with Mami and Liv, and ended with Ripley eliminating Morgan, so 2023 is probably going to win this poll.

2018 and 2023 are clearly ahead of them all. 2018 really lived up to the historical hype it would set. Filled with nostalgia and fun. 2023 was a good pace and didn't center around the usual circle of horsewoman/main eventers who didn't overstay their welcome. The middle ones imo were filled with sloppy action, and "who are you?" entrants.

I felt like 2022 was reliant on bringing in some names from the 2010s (I even recalled that Aksana was supposed to be in the Rumble, but that was changed) and a few names from the mid-2000s onwards. However, I thought the part with Ivory was funny, and the part with Sarah Logan and Liv Morgan was very heartwarming. As for others, well, 2021, despite that it was held in the Thunderdome (given the state of the world at the time), I can see that they were limited on who they could bring in. Aside from Victoria and Jillian Hall, there weren't any other nostalgia entries. There were also NXT wrestlers involved, which is never a bad thing, but I can understand why they were included. Then again, it wasn't as much as the previous year because this was when WWE was trying to build up NXT as equal to Raw and Smackdown.

Probably the first one, last year's was good too.
The only thing I remember about any of the others is the Rhea and Bianca final two and in particular the surprisingly intelligent spot of them mutually agreeing to get back in the ring instead of stupidly continuing to fight on the apron.

Ivory's post-match interview is also excellent:

2018 is my favorite. It was the first, so I was really into it. Asuka won yay!
2019 the Rumble match in isolation was not so great till the end, but the show overall was fantastic. Becky taps out in her singles match then finds her way to win the Rumble was great stuff. The story after fell apart after, but that night was magic.
2023 was good. Rhea winning from number one was a bit much. That should be kept super duper rare.

2021 (Bianca from number 3, Rhea in the final 2, Billy Kay trying to keep all her allies together, that Bayley to Ruby Soho powerbomb elimination spot) was genuinely great but hurt by the lack of fans in the arena.
Elsewhere, last years was pretty good.

I went back into the thread on here and nearly everyone on here praising it was actively calling it boring during the match until the ending. Shows how good Rhea and Liv are that they can not only save a dud of a match, but change the entire perception of it

Yeah, 2021 was dumb fun, Billie Kay being the MVP of the match.
Her reward was to be released 3 months later.

Dead heat tie for 2018 and 2023.
At least it's good to see more than one rumble match is loved by many.
And absolutely ZERO love for 2022!

2021 was the most entertaining overall, 2019 made me the happiest!

I think 1 and/or 2 going long is overdone in every Rumble so seeing them both do it after Gunther did it in the men's Rumble was a little overkill.

The only thing I remember about that rumble was the end

2018 was and continues to be the standard. 2019 had a good ending, but the rest of the match was forgettable. 2020 I remember not being awful, but Charlotte winning definitely spoiled it for me. 2021 managed to be pretty fun, especially the Billie Kay stuff early on, and the finishing sequence gave me hope for the future of the division. 2022 was absolutely the worst, due to Ronda destroying everyone. 2023 was fine, but it followed the spectacular men's Rumble and was kinda messy at times. Also, having numbers one and two go coast to coast only works if you do it sparingly. Rhea winning from number one on the same night Gunther went the distance made it feel cheap and secondary to me. She was the right winner, though.

Watched the 2019 rumbles last night. The women's rumble is very long with lots of circa 2 minutes 20 seconds intervals.
But man, that crowd reaction to Becky lynch entering the rumble is absolutely insane. Austin level.
To go from the cricket treatment women got to that moment was incredibly special and I still get goosebumps.

2021. Shame it wasn't in front of a crowd.
