I got through 1.5 episodes so far. Then I got called into work. My first takeaways were relief that Aang smiled and no one was saying anyone's name wrong. Congratulations on being above the bar Shyamalan set. Now granted Shyamalan set that bar on the ground, but still. My other takeaway is that Gran Gran needs acting lessons. If she were anymore wooden when reciting the avatar opening, she would have been a tree.

I'm guessing this one won't get axed before a season 2 like that one was, but it wouldn't shock me if it doesn't make it to season 3 since the longterm interest really doesn't seem to be there and this show has to be expensive to produce. twitter.com/netflix/status/1765407079148278039

Watched the first 3 episodes. Didn't hate it, but didn't like it either. Everything fun about it was already in the original. Everything meaningful was removed or turned into exposition. I'm glad this is doing ok and is getting more seasons, but I don't really feel like watching the rest.

Enjoyed it a lot, appreciated it wasn't 1:1 with the source material. My biggest hang-ups are kinks that can ironed out and can only really see it go from strength-to-strength.

So now that the show is renewed for two more seasons and will have the conclusion. The question that follows is will get a Legend of Korra live action adaption, which as you know as never happened, that would be more exciting for me.
