I never liked the hip words for "dresses/looks like the kids these days think it's cool"... but "drip" is the absolute worst. When someone says they got "drip" I only imagine shit dripping down their faces.

had a cluster manager (step between store manager and area manager created as a way phase out another level of upper management.) who would use this phrase when ever anything was ever brought up (including training me as management level for two days before kicking me out into the wild to deal with closing a store daily.) from hours cuts to no christmas temps to only having two staff members running a store 7 days a week after the first covid lockdown to him screwing up getting staff from other stores on the wrong day to move the store location to staff leaving and not replacing them to items missing from deliveries to shoplifters to not having enough staff to mop on sunday evenings due to hour cuts. I still get minor flashes of anger when I hear that phrase thanks to his ineptness and over-usage of this phrase. I will throw in "Gang" when it's used to lump everyone together, I find it's use incredibly obnoxious, it's along the lines of "Boys/Girls" when either talking to a group or getting peoples attention.

Basically any zoomer phrase. Oof, sus/sussy... can't really think of any others off the top of my head but they all sucks. Aside from 'yeet'. Yeet is an extremely necessary word and I'm ashamed my generation didn't come up with a word for it.
(I don't say it though. I say 'huck' instead.)

“It is what it is” - I’ve blocked countless people on TikTok when I hear them say this. One time I was on the phone with a friend I hadn’t talked to in awhile, after the 3rd time he said it I just hung up.
People who say “know what I’m saying at the end of nearly every sentence.
“It’s neither here nor there” - then where is it?
Overuse of the word “like” during a conversation.
“Basically”

People who say “know what I’m saying at the end of nearly every sentence. my most recent ex boss did this, 10 long years of hearing it nearly drove me insane.

I'm not racist but...
then proceeds to say something racist, fooling no one. Or proceeds to say something not racist, making his opening assurance pointless.

It’s okay to end your comments without the added sentence of asking us if we understand you. I also forgot “irregardless” a former coworker would say that often when telling a story. At which point I’d stop paying attention.

Went on one casual date with this girl in high school. As I recall, she said that phrase and then proceeded to tell me the difference between black people and N-words. There was no second date.

And we got a lot of members who do this I mean, I wasn't gonna say it.... I'm tempted to start a thread referencing the poor grammar and punctuation we frequently see around here.

I hate "drop/dropped" for a release of an album, game, etc.
Don't know why. I just hate reading it and hearing it so often.
I also hate pretty much any of the cliche internet reactions.
Y'know, like "I'm screaming rn" "I snorted" etc. Like, no tf you didn't, calm down.
"Banger" was something that I used to feel indifferent towards, but wrestling fans have gotten a hold of it and have completely over-killed it.

There was someone in one of my college classes who constantly said "not for nothing but." It was never a phrase that bothered me until then. Now I hate it.
