"saw <insert celbrity over 50> trending and i had a heart attack"
Why? He's going to die eventually and it will hardly effect your life the same way his family's will. Also you're aiding the problem. And stop using that Denzil Washington gif over and over.

People referring to Actors in Hollywood as being "Industry Plants"
I blame Katt Williams for this foolishness when it comes to talking about acting and I've heard people pick up on that since his interview.
The idea of an "Industry plant" at least makes some sense when it comes to music where artists will be presented as an underground/organic act while quietly having a major label backing them.
If somebody is acting in a major motion picture, clearly they had to be hired/chosen by the producers of that film.
"Industry plant" = Actor I don't like or Actor who is more successful than me.

I'm not racist but... then proceeds to say something racist, fooling no one. Or proceeds to say something not racist, making his opening assurance pointless. Went on one casual date with this girl in high school. As I recall, she said that phrase and then proceeded to tell me the difference between black people and N-words. There was no second date. There'd be no second date because she just stole a bit from Chris Rock (whose also come to regret said bit)

When people say they f*** with something and mean that they like it or something. Call me old fashioned but when you f*** with something or with somebody, that's not a good thing. You're messing with something or somebody. You're ruining its or their days.

"I'm glad I stopped watching or I'm never watching again"- continues to watch or follow whatever show or movie franchise they dislike for the next several years if not decades.

"It's just a THEORY."
Yes, but scientists don't use that word in the same way as Joe Sixpack, as a synonym for "conjecture".

I hate "drop/dropped" for a release of an album, game, etc. Don't know why. I just hate reading it and hearing it so often. I also hate pretty much any of the cliche internet reactions. Y'know, like "I'm screaming rn" "I snorted" etc. Like, no tf you didn't, calm down. "Banger" was something that I used to feel indifferent towards, but wrestling fans have gotten a hold of it and have completely over-killed it.I hear it in Sean Ross Sapps voice every time too. Which just incenses me more. I f***ing haaaaaaateee this. It is the most cocky, egotistical, nannying bullshit. Reminds me of “We need to talk about …” which happily seems to have gone away. Unless you a boss, in a position of authority, reputable or certified, you don’t speak for anyone but yourself.

Calling stuff “cringe” is pretty f***ing cringe.
And maybe I’ve finally reached my “ugh, kids these days” period in life, but I’d say pretty much all modern slang too. I’m still trying to figure out what “riz” is and why everyone I hear say it sounds like a complete dumbass.

I’m still trying to figure out what “riz” is and why everyone I hear say it sounds like a complete dumbass. I'll admit that I use that word sometimes and yeah it's overused. Along the same vein, one that gets my eyes rolling is the overuse of "awkward", the need to point out when something is awkward, or saying "aaaaawkwaaaaard" in that sing-sing tone. The prevalence of "this is so awkward" in comedy shows or even Youtubers whose entire gimmick seems to be "I'm so lovably awkward".

Woke - You dare to try and be an actual decent Human Being and actually show concern about bad things happening in the world and show distaste to those causing it. Or just something like a TV Show/Film having an LBGT Couple etc.
Cringe - A word that has been so over used it's kind of lost all meaning. "Oh my god an 8 Year old acting like an 8 year old.. How cringe!"
Starting posts with "I Mean" - I know this will be an unpopular one but it bugs me more than It should. I've probably done it before making myself a complete hypocrite here but there are better ways to start your posts.

Yeah, I've caught myself doing the "I mean". Also using "like," far more than I ever should. However, someone over saying 'like' doesn't bother me nearly as much as seeing it written. In day to day speech it's just kinda there, but written it sticks out like a sore thumb.

Sometimes I start with "I mean" and then after I finish typing the sentence, I go back and delete it like "Why did I even do that?"

I have a bad habit of saying, "so what I'm saying is" instead of just saying it, so I'm as guilty of this crap as anyone.
