Happy they’re using more original game music, but I feel I’m one of the few Sonic fans who didn’t mind the hip hop centric soundtracks from the first two films.

Yeah they are cooking with the marketing decisions again. The second film’s branding and marketing materials leaned into paying tribute to Sonic 2, and now the film introducing Shadow is doing to same with the game he was introduced in, Sonic Adventure 2.

When they did this for the last movie, they used Emerald Hill Zone. And that music wasn't used in the movie.
Using that bit of Live and Learn isn't making me lose my mind. Because there are good odds it won't be in the final film.

Apparently rumors say Krysten Ritter is playing Rouge I honestly don't know if Hollywood and the masses are ready for Rouge the Bat.

Admittedly, I'm not the biggest Sonic fan (I enjoy it, just not too deep in the lore), but I'm glad Robotnik is coming back since it just wouldn't feel the same without him, and Carrey was pretty enjoyable in the role. The irony is that a franchise like Mario, I get absolutely bored with Bowser as the villain since it's clear that Mario is more than his match...but with Robotnik...he's a mad scientist who is insane enough to never give up.

If this is Sonic 3, they need to get the rights to a Michael Jackson song for the soundtrack. It's Sonic 3, man!

Thing about that with Bowser...Mario is almost never a physical match for Bowser. If it's not power ups, he usually wins through various tricks. -Original SMB, if you didn't have the fire flower, it was the ax cutting the bridge under Bowser (a trick that would be repeated in the New Super Mario Bros. series) -Mario 3, without power-ups (yes you can beat him with fireballs, it just takes a LOT), you have to get him to jump himself through the floor. -Mario World, you had to chuck the wind ups he throws out at his head. -Mario 64 is the first time physically, and even then you have to toss him into a bomb. -Mario Sunshine, Rocket Boost to tip over his tub. -The Galaxy games, launch meteors at him. -Odyssey, you had to steal his hat with boxing gloves. Just a few examples of how Mario always needed something to help him beat Bowser or else Bowser would wipe the floor with him. Even the recent Mario movie proved that.

Apparently rumors say Krysten Ritter is playing Rouge I honestly don't know if Hollywood and the masses are ready for Rouge the Bat. Especially if they use the version of the character from the Sonic X anime: And to muddy the waters of that particular stream even further, Rouge and that lady cop become "besties" later on in the series.

Well, if Sonic can have a human woman love interest (almost more than once if you go by the pre-production stuff)...

Nah, we need the actual proper Sonic classic: I got a better idea, how about we ignore that? Only if you want to ignore the greatest piece of music ever linked to the Sonic franchise, sure. On a slightly more serious note, good to hear Jim Carrey's coming back. Doubt anyone was expecting this series to turn into a trilogy, but nice to see it succeeding.
