I've always liked Jack and am ready to become a proper fan if he pulls off this big heel run. This feels like sink or swim character-wise

I'm not joking. TK needs to get Perry "Cry Me A River" by Justin Timberlake. Playing into things are working, keep doing it to help Perry get even more over.

I can’t say it’s exactly a phenomenal idea, as you don’t want someone’s “angle” for lack of a better word right now, to be centered around someone who is not in the company, but I could see a timeline where he has this heel turn or whatever as the scape goat but turns it around eventually by saying he was just protecting AEW from people who wanted to do it harm (Punk). He is one of the Four Pillars after all 🤷♂️

The most entertaining narrative I’ve read so far is people claiming that AEW piped in crowd noise during the match to hide the CM Punk chants.
It’s quite fascinating considering there is a ton of fan footage to disprove that.
Also making me love the scapegoat character even more.

My favorite thing from AEW Trolls online is how there always needs to be something wrong or an explanation as to why people are happy with AEW I'm fully expecting a future excuse of "The crowd were all fake holograms!" or something lmfao

From what I was listening to it wasn't piped in crowd noise that was drowning out the (very weak sounding) CM Punk chants, it was the chorus of boos overtaking them. I'll never not love when that happens.

I hope they fill an arena with actual seagulls too, really add to the pop

If AEW really wanted to push the Scapegoat character, they'd pipe in CM Punk chants. Missing a trick there, Tony!

I did not like the angle with the footage and I did feel like less of a fan after it, but I'm happy to eat my words. The return was awesome, a highlight in a show that was filled with highlights.
Now let's hope the landing sticks.
EDIT: I wonder if AEW still has the rights to Cult...
