Living in the midwest, you tend to get used to unpredictable weather. The old saying is that if you don't like the weather here, wait 20 minutes. This winter has been the epitome of that but this is getting out of hand.
Yesterday we set a record for record high and record warm low. It was 75 for a high yesterday, in February. It has been warm for this time of year for like two weeks straight. The birds are back.
Today the high was 78. I actually turned on my AC to see if it made it through the winter (it did). Tonight we got a violent as hell thunderstorm complete with hail and tornado sightings. The temperature is now in the high 30s and plummeting. The windchill tomorrow morning will be in the single digits and they are calling for a dusting of snow.
I've successfully managed to experience all four seasons in a 24 hour period without leaving my neighborhood.

We must be neighbors because you just described what happened here. Had my windows open all day. Drove home from work with the windows down. Walked the dogs after work in just a tshirt. This morning It's like 19 degrees, there's snow on the ground, and my wipers are frozen to the windshield.

Said for most of my life in MS we got 3 seasons.
Summer-never gets below 70 and lasts 11 months of the year.
Winter-maybe 30 days total of winter spread out thru November/December/January/Feb/march
Hurricane season-The worst of the two. Cause now instead of undereacting to hurricanes people OVER React. Tropical storm heads this way and stores sell out of milk, bread and toilet paper.

In the south, it feels like there’s like five months of Summer, and the rest is an interchangeable hodgepodge of the other three seasons. And we get like a week of extreme Winter.

Western Canadian here and our winter has been very bi-polar. Three days ago we had a massive snow storm that created large drifts everywhere and the weather was below -20 ever since. Tomorrow it's going to +3.

Currently Summer here, there were hot days and not so hot ones. However, there has been a dengue fever outbreak and those mosquitoes are more annoying than ever. Western Canadian here and our winter has been very bi-polar. Three days ago we had a massive snow storm that created large drifts everywhere and the weather was below -20 ever since. Tomorrow it's going to +3. Canada, eh? Beautiful country.
