Holy shit.
Yeah, two future world champs right here, match of the night, match of the year maybe, all the stars, no notes, nothing more to say
Thank you for that, I will gladly take these guys vs this entire roster forever.

An instant classic that feels like it's already in the rarefied air of "Matches You Show People Who've Never Watched Wrestling Before To Understand Why You Love It."

That was a mid 2010s match straight out of Roseda with how they just kept pulling crazy counter after crazy counter. Also may have been the best match I've ever seen

It is without a doubt the match I'm going to show people to get them into AEW from now on. Some Goku/Vegeta shit but it turns out both are different versions of Majin Buu just beating the hell out of each other.

Takeshita should be a title contender on the next pay-per-view.
Ospreay should be winning the AEW Championship at Wembley this summer.
There's a lot to say about this match but the Oscutter reversed into Takeshita's Blue Thunder Bomb has to be one of the greatest things I've ever seen. A legendary counter.
Takeshita's corner brainbuster too, yeesh. That had to have stung in some way.
Well played, Callis. This won't stop me booing or calling you Cyrus any less. But you did well.

I love seeing these two posts so close together because I agree, I wanna show my non wrestling friends this insanity too

Ospreay needs to win the World Title at All In.
IDGAF if it’s “predictable.” It would be perfect.

It was always going to be the show stealer, Ospreay is the best in the world right now and Takeshita has quietly positioned himself into the conversation for best of the rest. Hopefully this is just the first of many bangers between these two over the next five years or so.

Ospreay seems to be moving away from Callis but Takeshita desperately needs to as well. When he can do what he did in this match, he doesn't need Callis dragging him down.

Like somebody said in the live thread (and I felt was the perfect summation of the whole match)
"Hey guys, this night is about Sting's Retirement"
Takeshta and Ospreay: “f*** it, we ball!”

I feel like Ospreay should get the Cody in WWE shove. Let him win the belt at All In and go nuts. He’s got another gear that most folks in the company don’t have. He’s on another level.

I feel like Ospreay should get the Cody in WWE shove. Get the push, get screwed over at the big show and then have the rematch overshadowed by the champion's famous relative who became a member of management?

The champion is Samoa Joe, so perhaps there's some kind of Samoan bloodline he could....oh

Ospreay is possibly the smoothest cleanest worker I've ever seen. He's almost liquid like.
