Fantastic, from the raw athleticism and timing of everything to the way it built to fully establish Ospreay to the American audience, while making clear he isn't likely sticking with the Callis family very long (poor Kyle Fletcher about to get caught in a custody battle). Can't say enough about how great that was.

Takeshita wrestles like a damn bully. Dude's forearm shots were downright savage.

That match was the epitome of "**** I need a cigarette."

Thrilling match.
I did get scared for Ospreay on the top rope brainbuster, though.

I feel like Ospreay should get the Cody in WWE shove. Get the push, get screwed over at the big show and then have the rematch overshadowed by the champion's famous relative who became a member of management? Yes. Ospreay needs to finish his story against the new AEW Authority or something like that. Now that I've said that out loud, I kind of want United Empire at full strength vs. "Corporate" Okada and The Bucks.

That match was the epitome of "**** I need a cigarette." Both the last 5 minutes of this and Danielson/Kingston had the same effect of "God, I need a nap".

How Takeshita can be this smooth with every blue thunder bomb is insane. I also love how much he borrows from Sami Zayn since that is who helped train him. Granted, maybe be careful on that top rope brainbuster.

I was at a cast party and missed the first 2/3 of the show. So I will revisit and see Kingston vs Danielson because it's one of my favorite feuds right now.

Someone described it as less of a AJPW match but a NOAH match which considering some of the blows to each other...extremely accurate. F***ing great, though.

Yeah, I'll be re-watching that sometime today. Snowed in, can't get out my door so it's a good day to watch a bunch of wrestling

I can't wait to get home from work later on tonight and watch this masterpiece for the first time. I wasn't able to watch it last night.

How close is Mark Davis to coming back? Feel like you'll see Callis recruit a new member to the Don Callis family and get a Trios match vs United Empire

Incredible match. Il be surprised if Ospreay isn’t in the AEW title match at All In. Takeshita needs to get away from Callus I think before he gets a main event push but we’ll see.

Ahh, remember “selling”? That was a fun concept while it lasted, wasn’t it?

That match was the epitome of "**** I need a cigarette." About halfway through the match maybe I picked up my laptop and headed to my porch for this very reason By the time the cutter into blue thunder happened I was just standing there, slack jawed, with the cigarette hanging off my lip like Krusty (“what the hell was THAT?!” - but in a good way)

Damn, like everyone else I loved that blue thunder counter, and that match in general. This is why I've been pissed off that Takeshita wasn't used enough last year.
The crazy thing is they could hit another gear.
Just a shame about the brainbuster going wrong, Takeshita has hit it perfectly when he's done it before so not sure what happened.

Ospreay in his debut as a full time talent for AEW and immediately has a MOTY under his belt.

Guy gets dropped on his head then immediately dropped on the back of his head, he then immediately springs back into action like it never happened. Is he superhuman?
